I'm the one that was against you in the first fire fight . My team of four saw you , pulled off to the side , then I crossed the road and flanked you, I think I took out a couple of guys , then you see me come out of the woods , then in the camera frame for all of 2 seconds , darn it now I have to use up my remaining 13 secs of fame before the expire !! Good video though .

I had a pretty good time at the game, most of the fun for me being the evening game. For the size of the field we were playing, with the spacing and number of objectives, there just weren't enough players that showed up. It was fun low crawling undetected in the middle of a field going uphill towards obj. #4, the extraction point tower, without any of the 4 bravo players caring to look our way. Of course they walked off by the time we got in range, dang! Same story creeping through the woods towards blackwater during their paid lunch break. They went back to work just before reaching the edge of the treeline to surprise them! After that I gave up and just walked into the middle of the large field to have a battle royale 3 way between the factions, which was more or less just a test of whose gun could shoot the farthest, since the field is way to big to shoot across. Just a note to players: don't call your hits on other people, you sound very immature since you're usually wrong. I witnessed a decked out Bravo player accusing Cleric of not calling hits, while I was dead and watching the whole thing. He was shooting my dead buddy in front of Cleric instead. After that game I checked out the town of Newberry for a few hours before coming back for the evening game, for which half of the players had left.
Although the evening game had about 18 players, I had the most fun with it. The simple 2 respawn points and 1 objective, all relatively close, kept the action going. Sometimes keeping things simple is the best thing to do. Another plus is that the temperature finally came down. I wish all the summer games were scheduled to fit in the late afternoon when it's cool enough to play and not lose ten pounds of fluids. Sadly I lost the battery cap to my Revision fan goggles on the field, I'm hating that.

SAFETY ISSUES!!!! While standing in the group at the "fort" after one of the evening games, I watched a player clear his gun of bb's after ejecting his magazine, in the middle of everyone! Two bb's were fired into the dirt near my feet, and proceeded to ricochet off the wooden structures and around the area. Most everyone had their eye pro off. Someone could have been blinded had this situation changed slightly. No one even cared when it happened for that matter. I am becoming very annoyed with the lack of safety awareness within the AOSC. Something stupid like this has happened at EVERY game I have been to. Heck, the only time I take my goggles off now is when I'm in the truck due to all the idiots flagging me with loaded guns and no trigger control, waiting to end my eyesight. Mags out, safety on, gun pointed up or down, eye pro on. That is all.

The mag/gun rule is being enforced when there is someone around to enforce it, but it will never be perfect. Say something about it when it happens and don't only complain about it afterwards, as nothing can be done. It's like Dom said above; there might be people breaking the rules, but if nobody says anything at the time then it does no good. The lack of safety is the players fault, not the organization as a whole. I encounter multiple players removing eyepro or firing in a safe zone at Lion Claws games, despite the safety briefing and roving admin. You can't fix stupid with any amount of legislation or complaints.

WEll said Steevols , Please people understand that we as reps are nothing more than players like you, just with a little more on our plates. We are not all knowing or all seeing , so if there is a issue or concern bring it to our attention at that moment. Plus there is no reason the players can not police some of these issues also , if anybody see's somebody doing something stupid call them out on it ! Understand there are only 6 reps for the whole AOSC . So we get our attention pulled in many directions . For Example : at a game about a month ago , I was sweating bad and my glasses were fogged up bad , they were slightly raised , I had my dead rag on and sitting on the ground , ATL , came by and reminded me of my glasses . I said oops , and corrected it . That is the way it should be .

I will complain about it on the forums so people become aware of dangerous situations, and hopefully how to prevent them. I understand not everyone is as safety conscious as I am, but not talking about it and sweeping it under the rug is not how you prevent a situation like this. And I'm not bashing on AOSC reps, this is something everyone needs to be on the lookout for. If it takes a verbal reminder every time between games so be it.

My point is not that I want to sweep it under the rug. My point is that lots of people have made comments about mags in guns (and so forth) AFTER the fact but never so much as said one word when they noticed a problem in person.

With what they were given, I think each of the CO's performed excellently. Cleric for stepping up at the last second, Smitty for tirelessly leading Bravo back and forth across the field, and Ghost for his cleverness.
I know many were disappointed with the small turnout and amount of play, but for those that did come out, regardless of the heat, field repetition, or inconvenient timing, I appreciate it.
Lastly, thanks to the Escues for handling chrono as usual. It might not be said, but it helps tremendously.
