I accepted, didn't say anything, moved to the side (got moved in front of Ghost so he could not be shot -_- ) and Steevols proceeded to kill about 15 people before finally dying due to empty mag. Hilarious.
I'm not sure which was more embarrassing; me killing everyone in the clearing (some more than once) or me pulling a nearly empty mag out of my rig. Curse you, Magpul, and your dynamic combat reloads!

Weirdest thing that happened to me all day: turning around to see a rubber axe headed for my face.

Best things: Killing everyone in the trenches on my own... twice. Walking right into the clearing mentioned above and killing almost everybody.

Worst thing: finally stripping the piston in my old G&G M16.

Well for my first real game of being a CO it was rather fun if not a little stressful I would do it again but in the future I hope there are a few more resources at my disposal before the game like a map. Anyway I believe Felix put on a decent game with a few hiccups, but nothing a few minor changes couldn't help to sort. Anyways seeing as this was my first game being a CO, like Felix I was hoping for some feed back so that should I get the opportunity to play as a CO again I can do better. Not just from a command perspective but overall game play perspective. I want to make sure that everyone has fun regardless of who wins. I have played games where I have lost but had such a great time in fire fights and objectives that it didn't really matter. So I would gladly accept any comments anyone might have :)

You suck at being CO, that's my comment.

Haha i kid, i kid. You did good and the game was run well minus some objective and field issues, five minutes into the game, i had to lead some enemy bravo players to their own spawn. Felix did good and i dont agree with the whole felix not playing statement, i feel for that role, only he could play it as well as he did because of the changing objectives. My main issue with the game was eyepro problems. I had 3 instances where i was personally engaged with someone taking it off, a bravo player who i shot and took them off not 5 seconds after, and 2 alpha players who were relaxing at trenches and took them off, and i heard ghost (i believe it was him) get onto a player who took theirs off in a combat area. I killed lots of players, rushing enemy is more effective than people think, people need to lighten up and just go get em!

I had a great time at the Op, too bad I had to leave at noon due to my back. My one shining moment that day was when Infidel, some others, and I held one of our FOBs. We were soon overrun, and all of our unit were wiped out except me. While under fire I healed as many people as I could, and got a nice long range kill in the process. I wish my back would have lasted the whole game, but it is what it is, I suppose.

Jeremy314 wrote:Only thing that I noticed that some what sucked was that no one wanted to move up and take advantage of openings in the enemy lines. Come on guys.. KDR doesn't matter in Airsoft... sometimes you just have to die to help get your team where they need to go.
Megga dittos to this! Also, great seeing you man! You were one of the few people I could count on to use your balls and gain some ground, nice work out there, as always.
Felix wrote:Bravo pushed down from their HQ, medic dragged me all the way back up to the top, and defended me as they sent a team to retrieve the medical supply objective on the road behind the Trenches. Alpha, after some intense fighting, overtook the hill and took me back.

Alpha took a hill? You mean Dom dragged some other Alpha along with him by the ear to help him take the hill. LOL

So about this time, I started to get a lot of questions about two things. 1) Whens lunch break, and 2) Is the black box the medic box. There is none, and No. The black box was the box that carried my plate carrier, and also was used to pick up the gold and silver and when I was shot, I left it there. The medic box was a massive grey crate with 4 handles on it that required normally two people to carry it. Apparently some players could not understand the differences in the two boxes. So please pay attention to how things are described as the RTO radios out.. Also, since Alpha thought they were winning, a large majority of their forces left for lunch. Leaving myself and about 3 other Alpha players in the trenches.

Dude, I heard you say box. What more do I need to know?

But. They did not flip the respawn flag. So Dom and a few others respawned, shot them all, and grabbed the two objectives and tore out with me. With an hour left in the game, I told them that the final objective was to find a weapons crate hidden on the hill behind Rocky Top, and with all three objectives we could bomb the enemy FOB. I had required, however, the captured CO of Bravo to be present as we blew up the FOB.

I only managed to shoot four before one of them shot me, then Thompson dude and another guy or two ran up out of nowhere and killed the rest of them FTW. We got lucky on that one!

So Dom, myself and a few others took the back path to Rocky top, eliminated a few Bravo, and accidentally found the case (by stepping on it) Turns out Bravo moved and covered it up. Props to them on that. So with all three parts we set out to blow up the FOB on the other side of the map, but could not make it in time.

One of the long time SQA players was a guard there, and he knew that I knew about that trail on the back ridge, so he was guarding it. He told me after the game that he was almost going to ignore it, but then he remembered that I had used it once a long long time ago (in a galaxy far far away) and so he got up there. I shot him, then shot two more sentries (I was on point, we only had 4 people with us) before they managed to fire a shot. We strolled right on in, and I stepped on the case (almost broke it, which would have sucked, since it was one of my props. I guess I couldn't have been mad at Felix though LOL!).

Quick personal notes:

> BE READY BEFORE THE SAFETY BRIEF. Is it seriously that hard?!

Now you know why I almost never complain about late starts... I know it's rarely the Admin's fault.

> Double check flipped flags and current objectives, could be the difference in winning and loosing.

Not paying attention = I get to rape you. Some people like that though, I guess.

> If you get frustrated with teammates or how the game is going, work harder. Complaining solves nothing.

That's impossibru!
This was the only game I have ever seen where two players were put out of action for the rest of the day by an acute back issue, Call-Name_Viper and 2ndRanger. I had a great time, I already gave Felix my feedback and I think most things have already been covered. I thoroughly enjoyed myself throughout the day, and got to wear most of my EW kit (hopefully JstsGhost will post the pics soon). The most frustrating thing all day was what Jeremy said basically: Very few on Alpha had the balls to seize opportunities to take the initiative in a firefight via maneuver. That's OK though, we did our best to teach them by example. A big part of airsoft is knowing when to bide your time, and when to carpe diem.

I know this is a little late, but wanted to thank Felix for a great game. Had a lot of fun finally being able to just play airsoft.
