wt?? still funny though.. and dont worry I have more! Oh and I forgot something, at the last stretch up the hill Stomper was with me, but he got shot, maybe I should have kept that out, sorry Stomps  :-[

Stay tuned for the actual taking of the objective after being shot again and the later epic neck break  ;D

P.S. am I the only one who cares to write about this game?  or am I just that bored..  :-\

The game was hot....too hot.

Actually, I was under the impression that getting killed would score alpha points at any time during the day, so I stayed back most of the day, directing folks as best I could.

During one point, I was told "Smitty, 3rd and a couple others are heading your way."  At the time, we didn't know there was some objective that they were going for.  Suffice to say that I was waiting prone in ambush with the M79 at the ready for at least 20 minutes waiting for 3rd to show up.

I was happy to see us get the first confirmed tank kill in SC (sorry about your launcher, Dom).

Oh, and I sold a pile of stuff, too  ;D  'Twas a good day
We all started doing what we love somewhere...

i served my purpose as a human distraction/bullet magnet most the day.  One of my favorite parts of the day was setting up a blocking position when alpha made a second run at their objective.  Mudvayne, myself, and someone else, not sure who, turned the tire pile into a 2 foot tall wall with sheet metal walls, and firing ports and held the position for a while.  Sucked being in the sun the whole time, but we were able to hold it for a while before someting like 8 or 9 alpha finally over ran us.

And id like to say good game to everyone who played.  I dunno about everyone else, but i took far fewer shots to the face saturday than at any other game so far.  nice to play with players with more trigger control and better aim.

I remember this! I also remember shooting at all of you, and although my bbs should have hit you, no hits were called because someone stuck there gun in the air and knocked the bbs away like he was playing baseball.

No, I was the guy with the kwa m4 who rained about 500 bbs at the fort every time I "visited".

This is also why I am now out of bbs.

Yah at the forward respawn, we noticed a few alpha's hoofing it across the field near the entrance, and a few alpha's making it too the creek bed on the other end.  I had just respawned after someone put a nice bb thru a 12x12 square in a table I was shooting through.  We were worried for Smitty so Bigbird suggested him and a few others head out to help Smitty out.  I said sure I'm with ya.  Diesel was halfway across the field into the tree line when he said, "If you're with me then come on!".  So Diesel and I setup at the treeline forward of Smitty.  I saw a good bit of alpha's coming around in the tree line but you guys were evidently clearing out the forward respawn.  No one ever did come for Smitty at that time.  One of you took a few pot shots at me and decided to just leave me be.

Sorry it took me so long to get things together guys. Been trying to get moved this week. Anyway here is how the points broke down for the game.

50 points awarded to ALPHA for holding the VIP for the max time.
30 points awarded to BRAVO for shooting ALPHA CO 3 times in the first hour of the second half.
10 points awarded to ALPHA for picking up the objective in BRAVO territory.
10 points awarded to BRAVO for the objective located in ALPHA territory. I awarded these points because the objective was moved by someone, don't know who. But has yet to be found.

Night Game
Alpha infiltrated Bravo's HQ and set the alarm off.
Bravo was getting close when a player got injured, and the decision was to stop play.
So no points awarded for the night game.

Yah i wanted to make it taller, but someone started taking pot shots at us from the woods.  i had to pull one side around when you guys took the respawn, we were pretty well screwed at that point.

aye Garrett, Bravo did find the objective, but never took it to their base or ours, and game was called.. dont know if that changes the fact.. and Alpha, sorry for getting shot 3 times, it just doesnt feel right not running point, 2 times where solid hits, 1st one I took was some fluke stray bullet, but hey stray doesnt mean they dont kill, so you guys got that and I had plenty of pay back moments..

Great games everyone! had fun! cant wait till it cools off a bit.. or...

anybody down for a CQB game at the hanger before white noise??

Thanks for posting Garrett and big thanks for putting this game together..

See you folks at the next one!

One more story.. gotta do it, cuz for me it was one of my personal airsoft goals, and it fell in my lap..

I wont bore you with how we finally took the objective though epic as it was

So.. dusk was upon us as the dew glinted from the last hint of sunlight.. lol.. yes I'm kidding..  ;D

On the real here.. this was the last small game we played in the original play area.. set off the alarm job.. we got bravo when we attacked and now it was their turn..

We got settled into our positions, War even boosted one of their guys up in a tree for over watch.. Dom and his attackers chose the long road out into the high dry grass field.. Rayne, and I think Alan had already posted up behind a big log out there.. I decided to do the same on a log about 50 to 70 feet away. Crouched low and made it there. I could see Doms crew heading behind the big brush pile. I exposed myself a bit and was made.. They started shooting into my direction, I fire back, this when on and on.

Swat, latxrex made it interesting by moving forward toward Raynes position using his riot shield. I took shots at him but for some reason just couldn't hit him, he was right there and nothing, probably due to the tall grass.. Same time where going at it with Doms crew.. I'm running out of battery power, the 140 spring takes a lot of juice, any minute and it's a no go.. And it happens.. The 97 is out of power and can no longer shoot, should I just call out? nah.. I'll watch the action..

Rayne and Rex keep fighting then disappearing into the grass, it was a trip.. Same time Dom and them want to squeeze on me.. I decide to get on my belly and start crawling, I put the 97 down and head out towards Rex.. Made it about half way in between and hear Dom saying take out Ian, I'm thinking damn, I'm made, but they still think I'm at the log.. awesome..

I keep crawling toward rex while hes busy battling Rayne, from what I could see some of the encounters were very close.. As Rex keeps moving forward towards Rayne I'm having to change my direction, quickly and quietly as possible.. About this time I think Alan was taken out by Rex or Doms crew, And Rayne was left.. Last thing I saw was Rayne blasting at him then trying to run backwards and tripped, he hit the ground and I hear an Oouch..

I'm still moving forward, Rex is so close I can smell him.. Rex takes position behind the log and starts shooting into the woodline.. Keep in mind Alphas been there the whole time holding Doms crew at bay and shooting at rex, pretty tight using the shield deflecting all that while battling Rayne, good skills Rex!

He gets too comfortable. I cant be 5 feet from him, I see his back turned but I cant move any more forward because the tall grass thins out and id be exposed.. Well.. I stood up, ran to his back and put the most clean choke on him you wouldnt believe, got the right arm all the way around the neck and locked the back of his head with my left.. *SNAP*  :o Rex was dead without a gun or a knife.. After the game was over I was looking at how far I crawled and you could see the matted down trail I left, I crawled a long long way for that..

Maybe boring but that was one of my best airsoft moments ever, and was a personal airsoft goal.. Now all I need is my grab the barrel of the enemies gun, duck under knife to the throat maneuver and I retire from airsoft.. ..

Disclaimer: No airsofters where actually hurt during this simulation.. All manuvers on the field are done by professionals and should not be attemped without proper supervison.

Working on it...

I had a great time, and repeated the epicness of OP Black Skies. Steevo was an awesome spotter, and together we racked up a crapton of confirmed 250-300ft kills. It was epic. It felt like I was really just along for the ride, I'd stay low with Stephen and Chris on the far left flank (open hilltop except for one large tree), Stephen would call out targets in the ravine below, and the slopes nearby, and all I had to do was put the reticule on them and pull the trigger (with only minor compensation at times). Very enjoyable day. Unfortunately, due to the tactical situation we were pretty much forced to support the infantry's defence of the center respawn from the far left flank almost all day. Alpha achieved great economy of force with local superiority of firepower on the most advantageous positions. Fortunately Bravo didn't loose as badly as I had predicted.
