End of day, with Cleric in the bunker, one guy in other base shooting back at you?
yeah, was that you? Because I know you were at the house in front of our base.

And it's funny cause I just found out my L85 was only chronoing at 430 with .25s, and the hop up was iffy at most. Imagine how bad it would have been had my hop up been working correctly. O0

Good, fun day. Sad it wasn't at TT, but still enjoyed Airfarm. We (Gold Team) left after lunch to celebrate a teammate's birthday, so we didn't see much of the second game. The first game was very good, we had some great fire fights, some close calls, and a few surprises all morning long. There were a few times when we had been surrounded at the base that I was worried we'd just get run over, but we somehow managed to avoid that.

I lost two M4 highcaps at game start somewhere between the parking lot and the closest Bravo base. One is a black JG. The other is a dark gray G&G that is missing a screw at the bottom and has two pieces of electrical tape on the top.

The game started off badly for me. When I got to the closest Bravo base at game start, I went to put my mag in my FNC and noticed both highcaps had somehow fallen out my pocket. I brought my FNC because it is good at long range, and I was expecting to be involved in long range firefights on the open areas. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I switched to my lower powered Type 89 which is has only a zero MED. It turned out that the majority of my kills were at close range in the woods and would have been inside the MED of my FNC.

I had a fun day overall until about 4:30 because most Bravo had left, and I kept getting killed before I could link up with the few Bravo still there.

Once years ago at a Red Fox game (don't remember if it was SCAA or AOSC), the reps put up measured markers indicating the MED's of 20, 50, and 100 feet. I am wondering if we need to do that periodically at games to reinforce depth perception. I noticed not once, but SEVERAL times, different people would get hit abd ask the shooters what their MED was. The shooters would respond twenty feet, and the victims would start arguing the shooters were inside twenty feet, but I witnessed the shootings were at or outside twenty feet. People need to realize that twenty feet is only about 3 1/2 adult males lying down end to end.

I for one, am all for this. Many players can't accurately judge distances, and a quick few minutes at the start of the next few games could work wonders.

I had a great time running with my team, Task Force 1. It was good to see some faces there, since I have been in Israel for a month. My RPK was rocking, and I ended up getting a lot of kills with it. The funniest thing I have ever seen in a game was when Kory's DMR was reaching us from all the way across the field. At first, we were like "oh wait, is that the DMR?" A BB whizzing my friends head led us all to be like "OMG IT CAN REACH US GET INTO THE WOODS NOW." Then, when one of our team mates looked out the woods and said "It's still there," we all knew we werent coming out of the woods for a while. Was fun to see all the Bravo players hiding behind the tower, thinking they were in cover. Overall, a great game and great field. I hope to play there again.

I had a great time, as always. Got there late due to a flat tire, but managed to still play about an hour and a half of the first scenario. I enjoyed that a lot. Second half I did less stalking and more firefighting, it was a blast.

I may be coming out of hosting/foruming retirement soon, so I figured I would see if the account still worked. :P
