Anyone missing a blue camping chair, PM me. It was left at my campsite.

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
Did anyone find two M4 highcaps I lost at the last game there?
Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
I did not have any M4 mags turned in, but one AK mag was. If they were lost at previous games I may have them, so check with me next time.
Good points about comms and dead rags. I gave out a couple deadrags before the games, but people still did not have them it seems. Now I know of at least a few people that brought them but lost them mid game, which is understandable. We need to start checking for deadrags at the briefing.
I'm not sure who you saw with mags in in the parking lot, but I personally had no problem with it. Prior to the game I only saw a couple people with them, and either myself or someone else told them to take them out and they did. I heard multiple people at chrono when they left being told to remove the mags. When we left the field, I had people remove their mags before we walked back, and everyone complied. It seemed to me that people were complying with the rules, but maybe that was happening in a different part of the parking lot.
I too was surprised at the turnout, but a lot of things were going on this weekend that seemed to draw away players. School just starting up, possible inclement weather, many people still have not come back from there summer long "it's too hot to play" hiatus, major football events, and we had recently played the AF. All of these factors seemed to add up. Regardless, the play was very good. There were no problems with players having bad attitudes or yelling at each other (that I head of at least), and I never had any issue with players not calling hits or anything like that. Marauder did a great job putting together and running the scenario and the objectives and game mechanics all seemed to go well. I had a wonderful time.

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
Pretty much echoing what everyone else has said. There wasn't enough of a turnout, but you really can't control that.
I'm looking forward to some winter games where I can really run my fat behind around all day without having a heat stroke.
Props to Ghost on being the best BW CO I've seen so far. Maybe the best CO I've ever had period.
It seemed to me there was some confusion within admin about information integrity and game play rules. Admin needs to show up knowing what's going on and be consistent all day.

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
Garrett, we need to work a firebred concert in somewhere. I was disappointed it didn't happen.
Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
my suggestion, is that if Firebred wants to play a concert, do it the Friday night before for the campers, or during the dinner break of a larger game. The 4 hr break kinda, well broke me.

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
I guess that may be one of those new things we try out sometimes that doesn't necessarily work as planned (The long Lunch/Dinner break that is, not the concert). Oh well.

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
Didn't get much good footage, but here's what I got. First attempt at video editing or anything of that nature.
Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
Who's the fat guy shouting out to me at the beginning?

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
That's Robbie (exiled4fatness). You can tell I am super popular when one of the handful of players on GRAVE puts me on the top of his hated list. I feel the love.
First song was great, it never gets old. The super rapid high pitched dissonant tremolo in the second song ruined it for me though, I found that song annoying. The video quality was pretty good, and I appreciate that you made sure we could hear the firing and what not, I don't like when the audio is cut and replaced with music rather than having the music overlaid. That's a pretty great job overall with the vid Romba, I hope you take some at RF.
Too bad the battery didn't hold out for our epic firefight in the building or your butt being shot from ten feet away

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
Thanks Dom. I thought the second song was cool, personally. If I come to Redfox I'll be filming. And I'm getting another battery.

Re: Blackwater 3: Defection
Sweet. I hope you start taking videos regularly, and I hope it spreads. On that note, I am going to try to find my little camera and see if it still works.
