I think its time to break out the cheese. LOL.

You guys could and should learn a good bit from this game. First and foremost always use what you got to do the most damage. The first game I ever CO'd was at bluehole several years ago. There was a third faction there and we always did whatever it took to keep them happy and working with us. Is that not usually the function of a third faction? At the end of the first day the team I was commanding was down by major points. Come day 2 I had decided to push everything to the max. In this game there were 2 HQs and one additional re spawns. On top of that if you had unfriendlies inside your HQ area you could not re spawn there. So we did what we had to do. We took over the additional spawn point and sent most of our forces right into Bravo HQ. Slowly but surely there forces fell, and with them not being able to re spawn we took everything and won the game. Some players were frustrated at this but we were abiding by the rules set by admin.

Now as for BW at this game, I can only speak for Aircross in saying we never shot anyone in the back while inside of a base. And we very seldomly safety kill anyone period, so that is that. Also we never got off track from any mission we were on until completed, nor fired on any player unless we were contracted to do so. Just to prove a point here, right at four thirty Crazy and I were hit inside the village. USA CO and Killer approached us and began talking. A min or so later we get healed by Felix and told to shoot both of them as he walked away. But what did we do after he left, nothing. we walked into south base getting with another player and walked away. That's when some goon decided to shoot me in the face and almost tick me off - Steephen. Lol.

Lesson to be learned - read over the game thread in depth, and never trust a player not on your team.

Props to Mojo for a good game and everyone for a fun time.

OP24-3 is in the planning right now and guess what, there will be a third faction. Charley will be a completely seperate faction in this one though.

I remember that, I was just a poor Iraqi looking for my goats. I was searching near the US base for them when I was forcefully searched, yelled at, and my life was threated! I told them I was merely searching for my goats and would happily aid them if they could help me. Instead they showed me discourtesy. Afterwards I vowed revenge on those American pig dogs, and enlisted another Iraqi in a scheme to teach them a lesson. After capturing their entire faction (minus two) and officers, we handed them over to the Iranians (Garrett was CO) as they not only were more than willing to help me find my goats, but offered me some western's candy and cold water in return for my prisoners! Allah be praised, my goats were saved and I bought half a village with the money from the sale of the westerner's candy. I think they called them M&Ms?

For what its worth, I was alllllll the way down the hill by "The Island" when I shot you, Garrett. All I could see was black uniforms, and I didn't realize I had been shooting at you (you all look the same when you're 2" tall in a scope) until I heard something about "SHOOTIN ME IN MY FACE, SUCKA!?"

Lol, Garrett I was down that hill with Steevo, we were slowly moving up on SB, all i saw a whole lotta black and i was about to start shooting. But that just goes back to the same point anyone could make about any event, better communication-when a base is taken/traded so that people stop attacking it.

No sense crying over spilt milk right?

He was rather upset. Which made me feel kinda bad for the guy (whetehr his story was 100% valid or not).
That was me, I had just checked a guy in the village for moneys, Martin i believe, and when i walked up Felix was chillin with the Alpha guys in south base. We assumed that Felix was working with alpha because he just walked up and started talking to us. When i walked up i had my gun on him, he shot one guy, went to shoot another and the mac jammed or ran out of ammo or something, and we thought he was messing around and shooting randomly cause the first guy didnt call hit, so i lowered my weapon and he quickly knifed the three remaining guys in the base. So i take responsibility for losing south base due to not taking proper security measures, if i had been thinking i could have shot Felix, and then the 10 Bravo guys that were waiting would have completely annihalated us. That will not happen again. The game was very exciting and tense even though i didnt see a Bravo player for the first hour or two, i think that Charlie did exactly what they should have, they were a merc team, have any of you ever met a trustworthy merc? they are loyal to one thing, and that is money, i agree that we should have been more wary of them and not so assuming. i would love to see more games like this in the near future.
Felix, good job at south base, and i personally believe you were merciful in knifing us instead of lighting us up, even if you knifed me quite hard.
Semlohwerd, that thompson was much mo' better than my m4 and thanks for letting me borrow it.
Stuckmojo, that was a great game and was very interesting and kept me and my friend on our toes, i would gladly go to any scenario you plan.
Stealth Hero, you were a great CO even though you werent always easy to contact.
Oh and there was one Bravo guy in the village that i shot and watched the BB bounce off of his left arm/shoulder and then he started shooting at me, and that was quite annoying but helpful cause if had called it i wouldnt have had to run to cover and the other hidden bravo guys would have quickly shot me. but you know who you are and next time call your hits.

Mr. Marauder wrote:I do not entirely blame BW for Bravo's defeat. We had our moments where we didn't fully capitalize on a situation, and it had an impact.
But I don't use a game victory, or lack thereof, to determine how I had fun. It is about the drive sometimes, not the destination.

To Stealth Hero, a successful CO is defined not only how he stratagizes, but how he reacts to situations. You will find more often than not, planning will only get you so far.
I did have fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, especially when i was in a position to lose. that adrenaline of knowing the game is on the line just doubles my enjoyment, and makes it a bit sweeter at the end if things go well.

And I know, before the game I mentioned that despite having been working on plans since before I volunteered as co, I had been planning, but that the truth of it is that I had nothing solid past maybe the first five minutes. i knew that as soon as alpha met bravo the crap was gonna hit the fan and that there was little that i could do to decide the pattern on the wall.

Haha yeah truthfully I thought all three of you were about to shoot me, but by some stoke of luck you all had the same thought. I didnt mean to jab you so hard, i just was adrenaline high from being so close to three guys that had full auto capabilites, a gun without gas in it, one guy about to yank out his dead rag and start yelling, and finally you walking right up to me. Next time ill watch how i jab, that was my fault. Free shot on me next game? :P

Nah, no problem, i came to this game expecting to come out pretty banged up :P, i would have shot you had i known you had actually shot the first guy, but by the time u knifed me i was within my MED. i dont need the free shot, you did what you had to do, but i am comin after you next game. and the knife wasnt that bad, fencing is ten times worse. and suprisingly it hurt worse than any bb that hit me all day, i got lucky and the only time a sniper got me it hit the edge of my mask :P

First off I wanna say... I was the Bravo "crossdresser" haha... Was probably the most fun I've ever had sitting in a base with all of my enemies, while they thought i was a friendly. I had to resist the fun of shooting them all and running off after i got all the intel i needed ;). But i wasn't gonna play like that haha.

All in all, i had a wicked amount of fun. I can understand how people would feel "butthurt", as crude as that word is, its accurate. I had a ridiculous amount of fun just running around and shooting whom ever i want. I stuck with the "business end" of BW from about 11am (after i betrayed Bravo, he he he) and can honestly say i never lied to anyone or cheated at any moment. In fact, i was wondering why information was sooo easily accessible in a game where there were clearly spies and traitors... In BWs defense, we spent a good amount of time running around, walking around, and watching fire fights without any action. I had to walk for 10 minutes into an area where we would be safe and sit there for 30 minutes, wasnt fun there. In a normal operation, i would average 50 or so kills. In this op, i only made 23, because i never really got as much action as i would like to have gotten. Im sure all of BW would agree that we were more of a war strategy team than a fighting team... until the end that is haha. OP: Black Water was an awesome event, i just think all the misconstrued reviews were from people who didnt fully understand the concept of this game.

I gotta say, props to the COs and everyone who made this event happen. This operation went extremely well for the first of its kind. (except for when we walked into the airbase and were told not to shoot anything, but walk in the center of all the gun fire, just to talk to a CO that was in the middle of the air field lol... regretting every footstep as i counted down until i got shot.... 40 or so times, simultaneously HAHAH)
