We had 5 events that happened whether it rained or not. It rained for some of the day but nothing like the last real mil held on this property.
- Land Nav- Gunship and Splatmaster had the highest score in this event.
- Shooting- Umbra and Fenix dominated this event scoring almost twice as much as the next team
- Counter Sniper- Joshua/Cody and Umbra/Fenix tied for the most points with this event
- Endurance Run- Umbra/Fenix made out with the most points not for being fastest but being the fastest that hit the target. Gunship is proud of out running the youngest guys lol.
- Stalk- Gunship/Splatmaster did the best on this event by requesting permission to fire, hitting the target and remaining undetected after the shot.
I would like to thank all the teams that came out for the third year of this event. It definitely ran smoother than the first two years and we will be re evaluating the events from this year to see what we can change for next year. There will be an event for the spotter to shoot next year, that will not be dependent on the weather.
Thanks to Jack/Kamikaze from Big Boy Toys Airsoft for donating the prize for first place. Umbra and Fenix both won a SOCOM MEUSOC 1911in OD and medals from 6mm Militia. Joshua and Cody came in second and won the book called Shooter by Jack Coughlin, USMC. both of these teams are veterans of this event and Gunship/Splatmaster and Vesper/Kevin both did well for their first time.
