Eh. I only played for about a quarter of it (until around 1700h), but I'm glad that IMC got to play with Bravo.  I'm convinced that we had more fun that way, haha.

The field was a little too big for the number of players that showed, but you can't really determine that easily, so it's no big deal.  It was confusing as hell, too... I heard a number of complaints from players who got lost or turned around during the game.  Somebody should definitely mark the trails and stuff on the map next time we play there, to make things a little less confusing (I'd do it myself, if I lived close enough to the field) in the future.

Other than that, and the usual inevitable BS you find in every game (regretfully, I unwittingly contributed to it a couple of times, and for that I sincerely apologize), I had a blast.  The odds made things more challenging, and I was grouped with a good bunch of players, so I was happy enough when I wasn't getting my ass kicked by the terrain, haha.

Also, it was nice to meet everyone, including Steevo and Bushmaster, finally. :P

Had an awesome time playing at this field, and I gotta say that it looks a hell of a lot different than it did at Operation Crossfire. It got pretty rough in the beginning with bravo practically owning the field, but things started to look up when we snagged the position at O4 (I think thats the coordinate...) My guys had a lot of fun holding that position against a decent amount of bravo harassment. That changed when the sun went down and the strobes started making their appearance... :( I felt bad that we got mowed over by Team War in the last few minutes before the score time, but like I said; those strobes are no joke! The attempt to take back O4 before 7:30 was pretty intense. You're a hell of a airsofter, Jester! The laser designation strategy was a great idea.

R&R came and went, and before we knew it we were back on the field with FSA. It was nice to finally put faces to the screen names, you guys all did great. Our incursion into bravo territory was the equivalent to going through a maze which really messed up the timing on our assault and got us wiped out. However when we got our bearings straight we finally launched a successful and extremely drawn out raid. I definitely felt a little ridiculous when I realized there were only two bravos in there... ??? But at least we recovered a few objectives. (Oh, and to the unidentified bravo player who called IronFox "dickheads". Love you too, man. :-* Not really sure what we did to get you upset, but I guess theres nothing wrong with stating your opinion. :P)

The final assault on bravo's drastically under-staffed base in the morning was a bit of a let down, but that insane ride in the back of Eddie's truck followed by the enormously epic fight to take back alpha base totally made up for it. ;D

I'm really glad we could get together to do this and I'm looking forward to the next one. Me and my guys were contemplating a what-if question about having a Vietnam themed Op. 24 when summer hits again. Mojo, Dom, it was an honor to serve you. Aircross, United Front, Team Red, FSA, and anyone else I'm leaving out; had a blast hunting bravo with you. :D And also I'd like to Hatch and Robbie (I think?) for helping me out when my dumbass bottomed out my Yukon :-[, as well as Eddie for finally me getting unstuck.

Hope to see you all again soon!

Overall, I'd say it was fun. I only stayed til around 10:30 pm, but the day was fun (aside from equipment failures). It was crazy when we lost the 04 spawn just before 9. there were about six of of there, chillin in the spawn, shootin the crap and havin a good time. then outta nowhere a strob comes around the corner and blinds us. four of us downed instantly, I got a couple shots off with the shotgun before goin down, and someone next to me popped off a few pistol shoots before goin down last. That was definitely the best I seen of the day.

The worst part was when I was given orders to pick up an objecting over by the k15 spawn while bravo held all the spawns. I have a nice little mark on the side of my lower jaw after getting hit by someone using a full-auto sniper in the tree line over there. Also, to clear things up, I was the one who managed to light up the field with a smoke bomb. At least next time I'll know the proper way to use a smoke.

Edit: Also, if anyone found a busted ass M4 lookin stock, that is probably the stock off of my PoS sniper rifle, and i will probably need that back so I can get a replacement rifle.

I had a great time, and although I haven't been to a whole lot of games, I'd say that this was the best one that I've been too so far.

To all the Bravo players, it was great playing with you guys.

The game started late, but that didn't really bother me too much. There was also a lack of organization at the beginning, but I think that the rest of the game, including the objectives, was well planned.

We went to the big field first, but we didn't get far before RED's tank came and killed all of us. We didn't know that you couldn't kill the people inside, and that got connfusing.
Next we were sent to hold the spawn points until 1400, and we got all 3. The squad I was with held the point forvever. We got attacked a few times, but they didn't take it. At one point, some Alpha guy in ACU came walking down the road, and I shot him about 20 times. He didn't call it, though. Apparently he thought I was Alpha, but he still should've called it. I'm pretty sure if a bullet hits you, it still hurts you, and it doesn't matter who shot it. Whatever though, It was still hilarious how he was walking doen the road, and all of a sudden, my burst hit him, and he screamed, "Holy s**t, what the hell was that?" and started running away.

We went back to the base, and it was time for lunch. Garrett radioed Smitty right before it was time for lunch to give him a new objective. Rev, I, and one other player volunteered. When we saw what the objective was, we immediately knew it was a suicide mission. We were supposed to ride in a truck to T-12 and get something, but the truck "hit an IED" and we had to get recued. Thanks a lot to the squad that rescued us.

After the suicide mission, the base got attacked, but Smitty and his LMG quickly dealt with that. I had an epic medic heal during that time.

Next, pretty much our whole team went to take the spawn by the creek, and we did. We continued to push up until Alpha sent about 20 guys down there. Apparently, they were looking for an objective. They killed everybody other than Steevo and I. We went down into the creek, and popped up and ambushed Alpha. We got a whole lot of kills there, despite me not being able to see. My goggles fogged up terribly.

After walking back to base, I went to the parking lot to put on warmer clothes and eat dinner. I went back to HQ, took off my gear, and was about to go to sleep. Smitty asked, "What the hell is that guy doing there in the fetal position?"

I replied, "I'm resting. There isn't much else to do."

He said, "You could go capture a spawn. At 9PM, we score 50 points per spawn."

I put my gear back on, and tried to go to assist a squad down at the creek, but I couldn't remember how to get there and ended up in the large field with the deer stand. I hear a firefight going on, but I couldn't see well, so I did the dumbest thing possible. I turned on my light. I heard:

"Who is that over there with the light?"

"He isn't ours."

I turned off my light, ran like hell down the road, and got away before Alpha could get to me. I saw the spawn we were at earlier, and I flipped the flipper thing to blue. I say there for at least 20 minutes, but nobody came to confirm the spawn was ours, so I went back to the parking lot. I put down my vest and my gun, and went to HQ to make sure the Admins knew that we had that spawn point at 9PM. I told Garrett about it, and then went to bed.

In the morning, I woke up, put on my gear, and walked to HQ. Nobody was there, so I radioed any Bravo players that might be awake. Diesel told me that I should get any players in the parking lot and take them to HQ. Leaving HQ turned out to be a huge mistake. I left my gun, and got not too far down the road before I saw the entire Alpha force. I wasn't armed, so they didn't shoot, so I ran away. I knew something was up, but I didn't have my radio. Two players joined me at the parking lot, and we went back, only to find the field surrounded, and stuckmojo sitting in Smitty's chair. We had left the field, so we had to spawn, but as soon as I spawned, Mojo hit me with a GBB. Henry showed up with even more guys. I was informed that even though we did extremely well during the day, while I was sleeping, Alpha had gotten ahead by 500 points.

After a couple hours of sitting ther doing absolutely nothing, everybody was getting bored, even Alpha. Henry wouldn't let anybody leave, though. I personally think that this was slightly annoying. The game is about having fun, and the players at HQ certainly we very bored. There was no way for us to win, and I would have prefered to play rather than to sit. What they did was like playing the fourth quarter of a football game, being ahead 54-0, and doing onside kicks every kickoff for the remainder of the game. I didn't really like that too much.

Other than that, It was awsome, though. Thanks to Garrett and all the players and admins for a great game.

It was great meeting everybody.

Red Bone: Good to meet you; you made Sunday a lot more enjoyable with your constant spawning.
Diesel: Thanks for the Cat Crap and the glow stick. It was hilarious.
Steevo: The attack from the creek bed was great.
Smitty: Great playing under your command.
Arbee: Thanks for the gloves and the pouch; they helped a lot.
Rev: It was awsome when you were talking to that guy and I lit him up. Also, that IED mission was a bit of a let down. Haha. I was expecting an ambush.

And also, thank you guys for putting up with my annoying voice on the radio all day.  :P Not as bad as the stupid call-button-pressers, haha.

This was a great game for FSA and Alpha owned started doing much better as the sun went down.  I had three guys pretty new to the game with me and they performed just about like they were supposed too and kept good fire going. Redemption was great to roll with in the afternoon and the attack for garrett at night with Ironfox was just as great, good teams guys. Thank you Diesel for the coffee at like 5 in the morning, Sky and myself were very greatful.

Best part of the day? When myself, sky, reds recon team, and whoever else was at R10 around like 4-7 the first day fought that crazy bravo force of guys that just ran around the field by the deerstand. Also when we guillied up Ben and Sky around that base earlier that morning, hopefully the pictures will make their way on here.

All in all, best game yet. Go Alpha!

Now now... I met you at Deep Scar 4. I was holding my Winchester at the time, and thought your choice of headgear to extremely impractical. :D

Shoutouts:

Red Bone: Great to meet you! Glad I could help with your M16; that thing has a lot of life left in it.
Doublewolf: And on that day (at that specific time, in the creek bed), many brofists were had. I think I punched a whole in an IronFox guy's finger though.
2nd Ranger: Those were some awesome NVGs dude. :D

One alpha to be exact (That I know of), and that one alpha was me. I caught enough rounds to take out an entire squad from you and Steevo. Got a couple lovely blood blisters to prove it. ;D Definitely caught me off guard!

I think I only shot you 4 or 5 times, but I shot 2 or 3 other guys right after that. I'm going to assume you were the guy who "got a whole shot in his pinky"?

Yeah, I mean I was the only one that I knew of to get hit, but I guess thats kind of a crappy assumption to make considering I was lying on the ground staring face up during the whole ordeal. lol

Oh, and excuse the foul mouth when that went down. I tend to get a bit hot headed when I get hit. :-[

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was the guy in tigerstripe camo with a shotgun. Who was the big guy that kept respawning next to us even though he new he was going to get shot? He deserves a +1.

Anyway, this was a great game. I espesially liked the firefights in the middle of the field. Still can't believe I made a 250ft. shot with my pistol (this is not bs). I even killed Green Ninja and Vesper!Nighttime wasn't nearly as fun, because Aircross held a spot up at the dearstand for hours. Did anyone else think that would be the best zombie game ever? Think about it; one squad at the dearstand at 1:00am, and multiple zombies comming from all diretions, popping out of the grass!

Eventuallly, the game felt more like work then fun. Great day at the field though, and I hope to come back.
