Great game GreenNinja! To bad not more people showed up :/ also it sucks there was so much confusion over some of the rules but over all i think the game ended well besides my lil sick incident xD
Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
great game overall had lots of fun. Rules were pretty simple it just seemed players didnt pay much attention when they were explained. Cant wait for the next, and awsome job holding south base alpha towards the end of the day. Luke i think his name is the sniper kid w/ psg 1 help yall out alooooot!

Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
Thanks to everyone who came out. A lot of new guys showed and saw some good ole familiar ones as usual, everyone fought well and honorably. Saw some really good fire fights and some excellent marksmanship by one green player with the psg-1 in particular. At the beginning there was a lil confusion as hotspur said about the suicide bombers. I explained explosive rules in the briefing before the game but did not reveal the suicide bomber role to everyone for the sake of making it a surprise. So my fault for that
.....once clarified the bombers were pretty cool and were able to give alpha the advantage more than once. Glad to see hotspur is ok after his bout of dehydration and hope rex is ok too.
Thank you to the admins for the help as usual and thanks to the special players who made the game dynamic at times. Not a lot of people stayed for the night game but that turned out to be quite a tactical game. I will be back with final score but alpha looks like the clear winner in the end considering they held the embassy, great job on that as Raymond said.
I hope to see everyone next time and soon!

Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
Had a lot of fun Ninja (and Raymondj); it's always a good feeling when a gun that I've spend that much time building helps me wipe through the whole other team
Although it became way more difficult after that, as Dom would send whole squads running toward me any other time I was spotted. But I had just as much fun taking the airfield in the first 10 minutes (not with the PSG-1) with only 4 first-time players to help me.
Dom, it was great having those couple firefights with you. Watching that PTW almost match my range has altered my view of those guns... slightly... lol
Gambler and Steevo, you did quite the job of getting around behind Alpha in the morning game. I saw Gambler in the village out of the corner of my eye, about 50feet away, just staring down his barrel at me. I just put my dead rag on out of respect lol.
Thanks Mojo and Boyd for running the team, that's something I could never deal with.
Also, I have to apologize again for hitting the bravo man in black (I don't know who you are, or if you are on the forums) right in the goggles at the tower; that was a lucky shot (that it didn't hit him 2 inches lower in the teeth)

Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
Something to bear in mind: Dom was running the PTW with a gold cylinder and .25s... that is to say a M130 with .25s.
I now have a great object lesson story for why everybody should have a sidearm of some sort in the form of chasing you down at a dead run. Still not sure if I actually hit you though...

And also that I should have a sidearm myself... oh well
Yeah I know it was the gold cylinder, he was easily getting 225ft kills. Even he was surprised at the range, but then again, he did modify the hop up.

Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
Yes, those custom mods worked wonders; though I still need to add an xring and teflon the cylinder head on the gold cylinder and black. PTWs are already awesome, but I just couldn't help myself. 225ft kills were a breeze at 395 FPS with Madbull .25s, but I also got plenty at greater ranges than that. Just think what would have happened if I used the red cylinder! Honestly though I hadn't planned for it to work that well, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Even Marshal was astounded at the range, accuracy, and low sound signature with the gold cylinder (M130). He then put in the red one and his jaw dropped. I love my baby
. I never had to use the black cylinder in the village, that new Mac11 also turned out to be a lot more accurate than I expected and I had some fun with it. To those of you Alpha in the morning being shot from the village; yes that was Gambler, SteevoLS and me. To those of you Alpha in the afternoon when Bravo held the Embassy and there were two holding out in the village; yes that was Marshall and me. To those of you Alpha in the afternoon who held the embassy but kept getting shot from the back two story in the village; yes, that was Robbie and me.
Skywalker did an awesome job thwarting our assault on the embassy that time, we had gotten very close and I was about frag the crap out of it and then we were all going to rush in and storm the place. It was almost over for Alpha, but as I pulled out the first of the tornadoes I got shot from our left flank. Skywalker had come in around the left and proceeded to kill all of us and save the embassy single handedly. Very nice work, kudos on that. He learned later on that sidearms come in handy. I do have to point out though Luke, you were being a DM
.
I also had a lot of fun with him when Marshall and I were up in the two story building closest to South Base. Marshall and I had been having a blast picking off Alpha all over the village like there was no tomorrow. There were deadrags all over the place. Then Luke came down from the PB respawn to try and ruin our fun. He came in behind that log about 250ft away and as I saw him draw up the PSG1 I ducked back and the round narrowly missed me, shattering on the side of my scope with a crack. He knew where I was, and I knew where he was. The problem was that he could move anywhere he wanted and that log had all kinds of good places to shoot from, and I had a single wide open window. I was sure he would get me, so I played it careful. Obviously I stayed well back from the window (sticking your barrel out is a great way to get yourself noticed and killed), but he already knew were I was and I presumed he could still see a dark shape inside. I played the angles and picked off a lot of his supporting guys nearby. I got some good shots at him, and he got some good ones at me. I never saw any of mine connect, but he later told me I hit him once. I think the leafy suite guy healed him because I saw him low crawl to him. Afterwards Luke kept shooting and I think I hit the leafy suited guy, but Luke's rounds weren't stopping and I was sure he would hit me soon. I then got two bursts into the back of my head and shoulders from the back window; someone below had spotted me. I showed my deadrag through both windows in hopes of not catching any more rounds. Marshall then picked up the PTW and started doing the same. I don't know if he got Luke, but I watched Alpha continue to drop like flies in his crosshairs. Marshall got some pistol kills and I think some stealth kills too, but I had already left to respawn. I had a BLAST yesterday, especially when in the village.
The night games were fun. It was Green Ninja, Latexrex, Gerald and Angus, and Danny and Red. We had a good time, sword kills, pistol kills, strobing and firing; good times. Red got the objective in the first one. Nice job on that man.
Danny and Nyte did a great job with Alpha, and Bravo did an excellent job even with no command structure. Lots of fun times with everyone I played with and against.
The only problem I had was two Alpha guys who walked down the ramp of the rear two story building in the village. I put two rounds in each and they kept walking away towards the island. I yelled at them to put on their deadrags because I had watched the BBs hit them at about 80ft from me. One of them stopped and pulled it out. The other walked behind a bunker and all I could see was his back. That was the one time I used full auto, I dumped about twenty rounds into the back of his vest, and he promptly stopped and pulled out his deadrag then, but yelled something about already being dead. When you get hit, you yell "HIT!", you STOP WALKING, and you immediately pull out your deadrag. If not, you will be repeatedly shot and you have no right to complain about it. It does not matter if you had no idea that there were Bravo in the village; that you didn't hear or see the rounds hit you or know where they came from. That was the WHOLE POINT. If you are hit by a BB, you are dead. NOT knowing where the hell they came from means whoever shot you is doing their job.
All in all an excellent day of airsofting, thanks for putting on a great game Ninja!

Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
props to ninja for putting on this awesome game, one of the best games I have been to, and that says a lot considering how many i actually have been to
overall I only had two problems:
1) I lost my freaking pistol, if anybody found it, it is a TM P226 black railed version, there is a cash reward for its return
2) Getting killed so many times by Luke, curse you and your damned (but so sexy) PSG-1
other than that i believe my highlight of the game was when me and Dom were defending the village (which was awesome) in the two story and I racked up a 17 kill streak with his PTW and my pistol, which I did shot Mojo and his entourage of people with
the funniest thing was when i was shooting people with the PTW and I heard the people I shot be like WTF where did that come from, IKD i didn't hear it.

Oh yeah Dom, I wasn't being a sniper. I'll admit to that.
Naw Marshall didn't get me, but every once in a while he'd shoot at me (I had moved on) and I'd yell back at mojo and his squad "did anyone get the guy in the tower yet?!?" ... but they never listened
I told you I was gunnin for you bud

Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
LOL, yeah I think that is why Marshall and I both got so many kills. The range and accuracy coupled with the fact that no one could hear where is was coming from turned out very badly for Alpha in the village
.

Great Game Ninja. Thanks for putting it on, I had lots of fun shooting people with my G3
. Steve that was fun btw when we were shooting people (marshall
) at the end of the day. Thanks again Ninja.

Re: OP: Phantom Hawk II
First off, I wanna say that was an awesome first game for me, even though some people said it wasn't that good of a game I still had tons of fun.
Even if I only got like 5 kills, I had a blast crawling around in my leafy suit, watching the enemy, and healing a bunch of teammates without anyone knowing where I was. I do have to say the suit was more of a success than I thought it would be.
I will therefore do all in my power to prepare more and make it to operation backwater, and will hopefully have an even greater time.
Even though the game was a blast, I still can't get over how nice the people were. Even people on the other team gave me some advice.
Next time my sniper will be zeroed in completely. I had just got it Thursday night and then on Friday I effed up my inner barrel, it has a little nick in the end of it, so about half my shts would go flying into space

First game for me and I had a great time guys! Thanks for being good sports and helping make my first experience a memorable one. Expect me back.
