Yeah it was great. Alpha won the first game by seconds because we were trying to get mohawk out of the tunnel. Team death match turn free-for-all was fun too and Harrison like a boss was killing. The highlight of the day for me was the first game at mile-high and me and Harrison were holding the closest tower to the enemy until ghost came in and got us out with a thunder-b. fun day in all

It was a good event. Not as many players as usual but still enough to have fun. Highlight of the day was when two morons on our team (Alpha) hunted down my squad while we were preparing an ambush for the enemy and friendly fired all three of us, and wouldn't stop pelting us in open woods from 50 ft. even after calling HIT and FRIENDLY many, many times. Glad I had some self control.

I would like to post a complaint about the day, not just to be whiny and moany, but to hopefully encourage some change. At every event I go to, it seems that the rule about color coordinated teams is becoming more slack. There were a good many people that were green and on Bravo, as well as tan on Alpha. Anyone who was there can vouch for that, and the number of people with mismatched camo (tan top and green bottoms, tan t-shirt and green plate carrier, etc.). Sure the admins know this and told us to just remember who they are, but when you see the opposite color with a gun pointed at you from a distance, you shoot. This led to many cases of friendly fire, to the point where some Alpha's were shooting other green colored Alpha's from the confusion. When five guys on the other team are the same color as your team, what are you supposed to do? What I am asking is that the game officials please start enforcing some of these important rules posted on this site, or come up with some other way to easily differentiate teams. I think people are starting to realize that the rule won't be enforced, so they show up wearing whatever they please knowing they can still be on whatever team they want.

What was the turnout? In the past hat rule was only really bent when there was a small number of people.

I will have my AAR up later this evening, however I really understand. Myself and my team mate Moose, got moved to Bravo, due to numbers. I did not bring bravo uniform due to my stupidity. I am glad that I did have a black hat to help label me not alpha, but it does happen. As for mix match, no reason for that. Just get green and tan t-shirt and matching pants. That is not that hard. Civilian clothes have been, my two games with AOSC, have been bravo.

I would suggest that black tops should be removed from uniform suggestions. And as always if you don't have matching pants, wear blue jeans.

I have been trying to get this up as soon as I could, but life is funny that way.

Good:
1: Game type was simple and basic. The three games was easy to explain with simple rules and objectives.
2: Players base was a great bunch of guys and two ladies. I did see some questionable calls for hits, but that is airsoft.
3: Redfox field is always a great combat location.

Needs Improvement:

1: Mags out of guns in safe zone!! Look people, if the US military have their weapons with out mags on base, then what makes you think people that have little to no formal training need to have a magazine in their airsoft weapon. I am very, very well trained with real steel weapons. I will not have an airsoft mag in my gun when others are walking around with out eye protection.
2: Communication: It will be much better when all start to yell and talk to others about movements. One of the ladies that was in the two story during the first game, was awesome. She did a hell of a job in letting others know what is moving out there. Talking is not a way to caught, but a way to give "eyes" to others.
3: Uniforms need to be more uniform. I know from now on, myself and those that will come with me, will have matching fraction shirts as well as pants. I have thought the contractor uniform; black shirt with green pants and hat for alpha, black shirt with tan pants and hat for bravo, would be okay. No that just did not work. I think that from now on a fraction colored t-shirt for the hotter temps and fraction color combat shirt or blouse for the cooler months will be what myself and everyone that comes with me.

Overall the time between games could have been sped up, but that is something that I have only seen on this event.

I was very glad to see alot of happy players and new faces. And it was good to see some people that I have worked well with.
If you know who you are pm, I need to get you my number for team info.
