Bounty Hunter Wars
GREAT GAME GUYS..
sorry in advance to people who did cool things in front of me, the contour was spotty at best. i did get my fat dog dive on film tho...
PROS
great weather
game structure was clear
fast paced gameplay (at least at first.) i was on a fire team with 350 points, and we were "rescued" just before Dom and Marauder could turn us in.
CONS
people pay attention at briefing. i get it, you've been around. but missing one detail (turn in player not card) can cause everyone grief
bb's to the face from Chad's dang sniper rifle
bb's to the face from Felix (at 5feet)
dont know if this is pro or con but did anyone else go swimming?

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
PROS
great weather
Dom and his crew got ambushed and lost out on the holy grail of bounty points in the morning.
Everyone had a great time
CONS
If you got a problem, find an admin. DOnt try to take the problem on yourself. There are NON playing admins for a reason.
Tried to escape at the last second and got pistoled across my face( bb wise). Was totally worth trying.
Players didn't understand that you had to take the bounty person to the collection place, not just the cards. It messed up alot of players that had bounties.
Overall
Great game, glad to see alot of people and hope yall will return for another round down at The Swamp

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
The swamp home of the headshot. I think this game had the most people getting shot in the face out of the games I have attended so far.
Pro-
Weather
Bravos hard pushes both in the morning and evening
Everyone I saw was calling hits on both sides
The first game I have attended so far I haven't heard people yelling call your hits at each other which was great.
Con-
Some how people got confused on the game rules after a near 30-40 min game briefing with the same questions being asked over and over that people kept asking during the briefing
Seems like people were getting shot in the face a lot on both sides
My Tavor 21 needs to quit dropping mags out so easily, but it didnt do it a lot

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
Pros- Great scenario, ambushed Dom, Maruader, and two other guys with an Ak47 MAG!!!, Got to do a role playing event, weather, loved the field.
Cons- Dom shot me in the head about 4 times, sniper rifles hop-up is sideways

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
Pros- great players heard no arguing, everybody was fair (IMO)
had great fun and got to use my favorite pistol
great weather
good scenario (besides the not taking the cards, that was weird)
Cons- getting sprayed in the nuts by a flying fat guy *cough izbeezthecapt
second half, majority of the team quit (bravo)
last part of the invasion most of bravo was standing around talking to admins while the four of us (me, achilles, docka, infidel guy) tried to take the town by ourselves.

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
Question on Bravo team one of you was running a Mitch style helmet with side rails. Your lower mesh mask clipped into your side rails. what kind of clips did you get in order to do that?
never mind I found them

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
Yeah, those people were talking and ignoring the briefing. I was all the way over at my van and I heard that made abundantly clear at least twice. Anyone intentionally ignoring the briefing isn't going to know what's going on.TokenTech89 wrote:Players didn't understand that you had to take the bounty person to the collection place, not just the cards. The first part of the day was fun, but not that intense for me. I spent most of my time sneaking around with Marauder capturing respawns so that the rest of Alpha, which was getting slaughtered, would have a place to go. The beginning of the game we came up on a fort, accompanied by two Alpha fire teams, and in the fort were Tokentech, Ibezzthecapn, and Idiot88. Marauder and I moved around the flank adjacent to the river while the other Alpha guys pinned them in and we overran it in a few minutes. All three had bounties, so we captured them and Marauder and I walked them back toward our HQ with the help of one other Alpha guy. About halfway back we got ambushed and lost them, so we got no points for that. After I respawned I got in another brief firefight, and shortly thereafter I found out Bravo had taken all the capturable respawns. Alpha had almost no cohesion (I tried to help, and was on the channel Alpha had all agreed to be on, but got nowhere). That's when I snuck off to the village to flip the flag there and wait for Marauder who had to go get duct tape for his shoe. He came by and spawned in at the flag I had just captured, then we went to Palmetto and flipped that flag (later we found out that that was Bravo HQ, so that was useless), and then we flipped the tower flag. However, the whole area around the tower was essentially an island. We decided to sneak up behind the bridge and try to take out some bravo, we did, but the supporting Alpha forces arrived too late and the myriad Bravo in the area made short work of us. Shortly after, lunch was called.
The second half was Bravo still with their HQ at Palmetto, but Alpha's was in the village. Several experienced Bravo players switched over, and the entire afternoon was filled with intense firefights, both sides giving and taking lots of ground. Initially I went up the center in the marshy area, this provided us the opportunity to shoot across the water to defend the right road, but also let us help defend the left flank. We exploited the concealment and central position for many, many kills. Eventually we were found out and gradually eradicated. I swapped back and forth, defending whichever side was being hit harder by getting in the thicker areas to hit the flanks of the attacking Bravo. After doing this along the right road, Hoss suggested we take the guys with us and sweep around the pond to descend on the rear of the Bravo attacking the left side of the village. After we swept the entire right road clear, we came around, saw Palmetto, ducked into the thick central brush area (the ancient way of the goose) and came up behind the Bravo in that area. Hoss took two guys with him towards the elevated road, and I took two guys with me towards the village. I caught two people by surprise and shot them, but a Bravo guy then caught the three of us by surprise and killed us all. Hoss' group fared much better. Eventually things started to peter out, but not before we charged down ctaylor in a bloody bum rush. We did a few fast CQB games before we left with about 5v5 or so, and they were a blast. All in all, I had fun in the morning, but the whole day after lunch was some of the most fun play I've had in a long time.

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
I agree with dom, the second half of the day was much fun even though bravo was at a huge advantage.

Bravo did not have a huge advantage the second half of the day...

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
the majority of bravo forces got switched to alpha. That was a turning point in itself

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
Not the majority, but 4 good players. That was enough to make it much, much more interesting.

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
alpha had the village and 20-30 players, bravo had to invade and we only had 10 players to start, a few more joined and left throughout though.

Re: Bounty Hunter Wars
Although the disparity was not as great as you just stated, you just made my point for me. I'm not sure why you are disagreeing with me when I say that Bravo did not have a huge advantage the second half of the day...
