Red Fox Game
I really had fun at this game, even though paintballing was happening as well. My most bizarre moment is when we went to Silverado City. I ran out of ammo and another Bravo member let me use his mag, i go to shoot, my battery starts dying...Then i decided to removed my gear and rifle, then started running all over the place, unarmed, healing downed bravo members, lol. I seriously was bouncing from place to place. Occasionally i would start dancing then move to another location. That was my highlight
SN- Does anybody know the Bravo member that had the GoPro camera with the digital full face mask?

I had fun, killed people, and even convinced someone my P* was run by a car battery and my air rig was the connector.

Re: Red Fox Game
This will be a "quick" and positive AAR.
First off, GOOD DARN JOB, Dom. Simple worked out for the three areas that we played in. Though it is known my views on not having a static admin, the games did run off rather well, with little issues.
Alpha, I have played on Bravo for quite a few events, and this is the first time that I have seen Alpha work more like an unit than a bunch of small teams. It is awesome to see you all working and TALKING to each other. Nothing will do improve any team, small or large, than communication.
Alpha can say that they "rolled over" Bravo!!
Bravo, I know you all can work better than you all did. Bravo played just as Alpha normally plays. Small teams do not win, when they play with out help from others... You did give us a lot of great battles and upsets.
Good:
K.I.S.S. games. I like games that have simple objectives, for small A.O.s and short time limit games.
Other players respect. I did not hear a single person react dis-respectful to any player. That is a good time for all.
Players did stay for most of the event. It is a great thing to see happy players out playing the majority of the event.
Need improvement:
(Though out of the hands of AOSC Reps hands) The field needs to have each area marked off. Walking out of the playing zone will happen, with out getting this addressed. Side note, but more important, each field that AOSC will have an event on will make every player a guest of the field. There is no need to argue with the field staff.
Alpha and Bravo need to have a leadership cast. This will help with overall relay of info and get each unit deployed out. Even front line leaders can get into the action. Doing this will get your communication and movement better, not just for the units, but for the overall events.
We need to get the lead out of our butt. Breaks is the time to refit, then do all the other things you want to do. It is not good to have players on the field, or having to wait to move out, just because some/ many are not ready in proper time.
For my last thought, I did see some none hit calling, some great moves, and helping each other players. The last two does make any thing worth coming out. But the first part will make you lose your name as a honorable player, and will take along time to recover from it. Trust me on that, because I must talk to one of my players... And yes, it will also effect the whole team...
Good job everyone..

First time playing at an organized event. I loved every minute of it. Met some very awesome people, had a few laughs, and even though I had my but handed to me it was a fun day overall.
LOL Asian that was awesome how you ran around just being a medic. Sadly my pistol got you hit more often than not. Still a great day all around.

Re: Red Fox Game
Man what a good day. Too many people to name/thank to even try. Highlight of the day was probably driving home at lunch to grab my FN2k, fixing the hopup feeding issue in the back of a pickup truck, and using it in Silverado City to just pick off people casually walking from building to building at the far end of the field from the 2 story tower, and then again from the other end of the field picking off people who kept trying to enter the tower. In the round where bravo was attacking the 2 story building, I went through a highcap and a half of .40g BBs. Talk about target rich environment.
I had a big scare when I was spectating the 3rd round in Silverado because I had loaned the FN2k to a friend, and I decided not to play with a CQB gun because I didn't have my iron face or anything to protect my mouth. Go figure, my friend was doing the same thing I had done each round previous, picking people off from the 2nd story, and unluckily caught someone in the mouth, resulting in a chipped tooth. It was well over the 100ft MED of the weapon, but nobody likes to see that happen. I told myself a while back that if I'm ever playing CQB, I need to have something protecting my mouth, and I'm glad I stuck with it. It may be something that should even be discussed as a rule for CQB. Everyone thinks it will never happen to them...

Also does anyone know who the little kid that was on Bravo with the snow camo? He asked me to hold onto his flashlight and I found it this morning unloading my car.
Re: Red Fox Game

Anyone find half of my handguard? I'd like desperately not to have to order a new one.

Dude, thanks so much for letting me borrow your pistol, even though i didn't fire it once!!! I had to do something to help out bravo, i didn't want to sit there and do nothing when my gun ran out of juice and ammo.Jon Boy wrote:First time playing at an organized event. Re: Red Fox Game
Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks Ghost, the day did indeed go surprisingly well, especially considering how many newer and younger players we had. I am going to print and frame your AAR .
Other than my 80mph run in with a giant block of wood on the way to the game, I had a fantastic day. I only had to take myself out of play a few times to make sure some situations didn't get out of hand, namely in the morning when it was humid and people were tempted to remove eyepro, and a couple times when things needed a little supervision. Otherwise it was very smooth sailing. Chapter V rolled the field on Alpha, naturally.
*Insert complaint about the late players we had to wait on to gear up here*
Thanks to Marauder and Hoss for getting chrono and registration started when I told them I was running behind due to the flat tire/bent rim. They got things rolling so we didn't see much of a delay. Props to Romba for the frag kill on me, enjoy your laurels while you can... next time I won't make a phone call in game.
