Today was mega fun. It stinks I had to leave early for work. I'll have a better AAR or video later. For the meantime, I seem to have lost my Thunder B on the field. I think it got knocked off my back when going through the woods from point 2 to whatever point is far left (facing the creek) where the creek meets the red markers at the corner of the boundaries. If you find this you will be my hero, I never even got to use it once.

I had a great time at this event. Dominum did a great job and the admins provided great support. Everyone played well and fair, which was awesome and kept me on the field. Would have liked to have seen more bodies on the field, but the VC / NVA made do with what they had and kicked ass.

I had a blast. I enjoyed being a radioman before lunch and an injured pilot after, and then just had fun taking bases and objectives from the nva. Overall i thought the game was well executed, easy to understand and was well admined. Good job dom for a well executed game.

Pros: good game basis, objectives, field layout, and pretty much everything else.

Con: small player base (no ones fault)

I really enjoyed this event, and was great being my first.. Probably my favorite part was when Star_Folder, a medic, and I managed to hold a base against what we thought were two people. Which ended up being about ten... And I sprained my ankle...

NVA: Acting Commander

Fantastic event! The game dynamics made this a physically challenging game. The players did a wonderful job of playing hard, with integrity, and great sportsmanship, minus one hiccup. That staff did a fantastic job of being available and keeping good time management.

I will have to say the Kyle did a great job as the G.I. commander, even with the communication breakdown. He was very dynamic in movement and in directing his troops where they were needed.

Henry did a superior job of briefing, adapting mission permitters, and keep the missions simple. However, I, and all the NVA players are dead from fast hikes, killer fire fights, and lack of down time!
I know that the lost players, not from having a bad time, hinder the Sunday play! But watching GIs roll in strong was awesome! I had a great time!!

Good:
1: Game, was a constant moving, hard conflicts, and simplistic missions.
2: Players, all played hard, with integrity, great spirits, and with steady pushes though-out the game.
3: Amount of staff, was great for a field of this size.

Needs improvement:
1: Communication, on the G.I. side was majorly handicapped. We have spent many times on the forums, stressing player have radios! Well, you need to start getting that set up now. $130 can set you up with a good programmable radio system.
2: Un-Protected, on-field, persons (Un-controllable)! When on the AO, the field owner should stress every person that comes on their property to have eye protection on! We had two issues with that, and both times, every player did a kick butt job of relaying "blind man" to get on operation hold!
Side note on that, when we restart operation, we should get a 10 second count down to resume.
3: ANTS!!! Yes Mother Nature did not send the chiggers in for an attack. No, she sent in the ants!

I will thank my guys, for doing a superior job! I will thank the GIs for an equally superior job! And I thank everyone for making Arron (Moose) have a extremely great time!

It was obvious Dom put a lot of time and effort into planning. Thanks, Dominumnumnum! Thanks to Dom and Red Tactical for the raffle prizes and the loadout contest prizes. Thanks to my fans (lol) for voting for my loadout. Thanks to Kyle, James, and Frost for being leaders. Thanks to the other admins. It was a very good weekend. The only bad thing was the amount of people who could not attend. They missed a nice game.

I'm flat worn out. That was a heck of a lot of fun.

I was one of the NVA's platoon leaders, ended up working with Moose for most of the day. The beginning of the day was a little slow to get started, but once the ball started rolling, it didn't stop.

In the morning portion of the day, several of us were caught out of bounds. When moving back into the woods, we immediately came under attack by waiting US forces. One fellow was about 40ft out from me and opened up. He wasn't shooting a darn thing. I must have not moved for 3-5 seconds just waiting for a bb to come flying out of his gun, but nope, nothing. I felt so sorry for the guy. Finally got the better of my senses and jumped back behind cover. I played with a 100ft MED, so 40ft was out of the question.

Of course, there was the incredibly unfortunate out of bounds incident that happened after lunch as well. Effectively killing our entire team. That was special...

Oh, and C_Taylor blew a chunk out of my lip. lol, ah, good times, good times.

Moose had an epic run taking out a good dozen of the US Forces by himself, that was an awesome thing to watch.

Missions were all over the place. Initially, I'd say it's a bad thing, but the travel was an interesting part to take into account moving from point A to point B. I'm exhausted from it, but it was fun.

Dom did a fantastic job running the game, and I want to thank all the other admins that helped out.

Nah, you're fine. It wasn't your fault, you were just the messenger.

Great Game! I enjoyed seeing everyone. I enjoyed the game design and play. Though the numbers were low I feel I got ample engagements without long periods of time wandering through the woods. LOL. Hats off to both sides for great sportsmanship and integrity. It makes the game so much better when you can trust that everyone is playing by the rules. Great job guys.

Hats off to Dom for a great game design, to all the admins that assisted and joined into the play and to all the Alpha players that kept me on my toes the whole day. A big thanks to all the Bravo players. It was fun running with you guys. Never saw anyone lolly gagging or unwilling to do what command asked.

Big thanks to Venom, Poe Poe, Odlesky and Bob for running with me. You guys played great and did an awesome job. Even with the swimming break, Poe Poe. ;P Also great job to Kyle (Ibeez..), that stealth creep you made on base 6 at the end of day play was awesome. Especially when you shot Ghost in his man boob. LOL. Great job guys.

Pros:
1. Good game design and missions.

2. Number of Admins/refs on the field.

3. Player base honesty.

Cons:
BLOOD SUCKING MOSQUITOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MAN EATING ANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Maybe keep a roll of orange tape on hand at future events encase there are boundary changes. With the number of Admin/refs that we had on the field, tape could have been placed on the appropriate trees to eliminate miscommunication fairly quickly. Not a huge deal for this game, but could have easily been a mission changer.

2. Admins/refs please be considerate of the players. When driving or hanging out around a base please keep the noise down. It gets hard to hear the crack of branches or the approach of the enemy over extra noise.

3. Communication
Twice I was hidden between two units of Alpha that engaged each other. I of course used this to my advantage, but it was obvious that the communication breakdown was the biggest problem. This will help big time in future games, but especially when SC vs Ga again.

All in all, I have to say it was a great time. Made possible by dedicated Administration and quality players.

Heh, thanks.

I saw him moving, and managed to miss the yellow. I shot it, heard someone yell "ouch" but never heard hit. I taunted him a little, thinking someone was just trying to dodge not calling it. I moved closer, then saw Dom was there. It didn't take long for me to figure out why my target never called hit. lol
