well it was me and red's first time at rf and we had a blast. i really enjoyed rolling with gears you guys rock. it was our first time being bravo. it was hard for me to get used to. bravo kicked alpha's butt all over the field all day. kudos to robin for putting on a good game as usual. i loved mile high city. i look forward to playing there again.

Great game with a HUGE turnout for a non-OP game. Before anybody asks, I WAS there, and I DID have bbs for sale. Several people later said "OH! YOU'RE Smitty?" ...Yes, I'm Smitty. Always look for a boonie hat and a grey Ford Taurus with a small table behind it if you are looking for KSC or Goldenball ammo.
It was nice to actually get out into the battlefield with other players for once (haven't done that for four months...been in officer positions all winter).
To any players that asked me how much ammo I used: my best estimates of ammo consumption range from 7000-8500 for the whole day (to anybody asking how I could use that much, I spent most of the day doing my best to deny movement to enemy forces by laying down suppression fire rather than going for actually kills).
A few things I want to get off my chest.
Morning game: I was among those who ended up taking a position near alpha's spawn, but it was not my intent. I was not aware that I was as close to the spawn point as I was. I couldn't see it until Robin moved it. However, I have been on the other end of spawn-campers in the past, and I know that it's no fun at all. My apologies to alpha for that.
Afternoon game: on the downhill end of Mile High City, when bravo was defending it, there was a rush of alpha near that decrepit shed where I was waiting. I was aiming low as best as I could, but in the process of trying to hit players that were near the back of the group and farther back, I did hit players that were already dead, and also a few that were within my MED. Please know that this was not my intent and that you have my apologies.

Towards the end of the day I was close to the MH buildings on the low end, and my new helmet saved me some serious welts on the top of the head. I think I will make it a regular on my Alpha loadout from now on.
During the first game, Bushmaster, SteevoLS and myself were the last Alpha alive during Bravo's aussault on our HQ. The three of us held it alone for nearly five minutes against at least thirty Bravo. So, if you felt any .40s hitting you on semi, that was me laying behind the logs with the DMR G3SG1
