from everything ive learned about the guns, it seems like its a wiring issue of some kind.  The gun is being sent back to airsplat to be repaired under warranty.

We would like to thank everyone that offered their expertise adn knowledge in trying to get this issue repaired

This happens with mine too. Same gun. G&Gs are known to have crap wiring. Maybe that's it.

thats what we were thinking, from what everyone had said.  but since its still under warranty, hes gonna send it back, get it fixed there, and then replace the wiring when we know the gun is working.  instead of doing the wiring and be something else wrong.
