Echo1 P90 semi-auto issue

Post by Tzer1993 » Tue Sep 29, 2009 7:49 pm

Okay so here's the deal:
Just got this Echo1 P90(used) a few weeks ago and the semi-auto would not work properly --- it would take a few pulls to get a shot out --- so I sprayed some contact cleaner on the contacts and it worked good for about a mid-cap worth of shots and now it wont fire on semi at all. Any ideas as to what's going down?

Check the cutoff lever for wear, and make sure the metal bars that connect the actual trigger to the gearbox are in place properly.

Unfortunately this is a very common problem for most P90 models that sometimes can't be resolved due to the low tolerances at which the Chiclone models' parts are manufactured.

Well I got it working...for the time being
I just had to carve the black gunk of the contacts with a razor... :-\

Yea, if there is wear on the cutoff lever, I would suggest getting a new one considering that I have had the same problem.
