Nope, V6 silent sets are manufactured as well. (The only thing different being the cylinder head obviously) I had a Systema one in my old P90. Anyway, FN2000s do not use a V6, they use a proprietary design that is somewhat similarly shaped, but definitely not a V6. I also found some that use a V3.

I did not know that about the V6 silent heads, I had never seen them or heard of them, so I assumed they didn't exist. Though, now I'm curious how they work.

As for the G&G FN2000, the cylinder head is a V6, the gears are V2, the rest is what is in every other gearbox, and it's shaped like a P90 V6 except that the trigger mech is on the side of the gearbox, not under the cylinder. The spring guide is proprietary, but doesn't need replacing. It's strong, solid steel and has ball bearings.

Anyway, replying to OP:

Most methods for quieting down the GB have been covered, but here's a good technique for ensuring your gear/motor noise is down.  You're basically doing a proper shim job with very OCD attention to detail.  Remove your entire bore assembly from the GB, leaving only the gears, anti-reversal latch, and whatever trigger electronics your gun uses.  Shimming is pretty easy, but the trick to making sure you're doing it right lies in removing the bore assembly.  Reattach your motor/pistol grip and battery, and cycle the motor, listening carefully to the gear noise.  With the bore assembly out of the picture, you'll clearly hear the amount and kind of noise.  This is the best way to set your motor height, as you can slowly adjust and find your 'sweet spot'.  Taking the GB apart to add or remove shims sucks (especially when you're finishing with the thinnest ones) but the noise reduction will be worth it, as well as greatly reduce wear on your gears, bearings, motor, wiring, etc.

Systema CMB owners know (or should know) this trick, as it comes printed in the owner manual.  They suggest tuning it yourself before fielding it.  The increase in longevity is the real benefit, with noise reduction being a convenient side effect.

As far as quieting the airburst at the end of the barrel...well yeah that's already been beaten into the ground.
