Opinion on a GR-15
Okay so I have a GR-15. Had it since September. I absolutely love it and it shoots well for a short barrel and CQB fps. But I have a Systema gearbox m110 and i think I am going to drop it in along with some other stuff I'll post picks of the stuff and I would love to hear your opinion on looks/functionality.
here is the gun

here are the things I am adding. I do not care about losing the blowback.
JB Unicorn 14mm Anti-clockwise Airsoft Mock Suppressor

Matrix Steel 4.5" Outer Barrel Extension for Airsoft

these two things make it so the barrel is going to be 234mm plus the stock barrel length of 223 so I am putting a madbull 6.03 455 mm barrel. A systema hop up(only because I have read everywhere that the revolution works best with its hop up and bucking)
Okay sorry for such a long post. any help would be appreciated.
Oh I would be running it on a 7.4v 3000mah lipo crane stock battery

Why not pick up a broken/parts gun for cheap, drop in the gearbox, and have another rifle?

Steevo makes a good point. If you are happy with the way your current gun shoots it would make sense to keep it as is and buy a shell to put the new GB in. That way you have a backup gun when one of them goes down, which they will being airsoft guns. For being so young Steevo has some good ideas occasionally.

You name a game, I've been to it.
If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.
If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Re: Opinion on a GR-15
Ya I prolly should. I just thought it would be awesome to have more range and a sweet sweet trigger response. I don't really wanna spend anymore cause I just dropped some cash to fix my L86. So I guess I should wait. But would it look weird with that barrel extension and silencer? I have been researching and researching before I put this up on shells and it would almost be like buying a KWA or a high price gun like 300 bucks to get the shell the upper receiver... the stock and all the parts in between. Thats why I'm hesitating.Gambler wrote: Steevo makes a good point. If you are happy with the way your current gun shoots it would make sense to keep it as is and buy a shell to put the new GB in. Re: Opinion on a GR-15
If you just need a body, barrel, stock, grip, etc, put up a want ad here and on the NCAO. I'd be glad to help you with building a gun from scratch. I've done that several times.

Re: Opinion on a GR-15
shop some boneyard guns at various stores. all u need is a non-working gun. i kinda did the reverse to get "ole faithful" sportline back into working order....the body split on it...found another ca sporty body and a simple ris to boot...$51 invested, just need to transplant the internals.
only thing u need to do the gr15 is eventually upgrade the wireharness and get a steevofet

When you definitely need it killed overnight...
