trigger mech question.

Post by Chippy » Fri Mar 04, 2011 10:54 pm

Okay, I know this isn't the brightest question to ask but...

My trigger mech isn't exactly broken, a little connector plate just broke off some how. Will I still be able to use it tomorrow or should I just wait 'til I buy a new one?

Pics would probably be useful but I'm doing this through a phone that malfunctions a lot. If you can pm your cell number I can send you the pics of what the peice looks like and what not.

By trigger mech did you mean trigger electronics, or the actual mechanical moving parts?  And by plate...where exactly was this plate?  What kind of gun was it in, and what manufacturer?

As a quick answer though, you probably can't use it tomorrow.  If something broke off, and now the gun doesn't work...it's likely that you need to replace the part.

I have an echo1 m28. Its just the small peice that you put a screw into to attach it to the outer barrel. Otherwise it is fine.

Pics?

You say it merely attaches it to the outer barrel? If it attaches to the stock and or upper receiver at other points, that should not be a major issue.

I won't bother with pics because the sears won't catch. I can pull it back and all and then it just goes back foward like jogging happened.

Dom, if you can would you mind changing the stock m28 trigger mech that I requested to the airsoftgi reinforced mech? And any luck on the upgrade kit?

Yeah, ok...see I didn't even know you were talking about a bolt action rifle.  In the future be sure to be somewhat specific as to what kind of gun it is, I hadn't the slightest idea what you were talking about.
