Well, that seems to be the problem. I'm just not sure as to what piece looks Luke or where it is exactly located...

Re: JG G3. No power.
Well, see that lower post sticking up, the square one? That is what I was talking about, seeing as it is still there, my original diagnosis is incorrect, though it exhibits all the other symptoms. This is good news and bad news for you:
Good news:
-You do not need a new shell (or at least not for that reason)
-I owe you $5
-It is likely a short somewhere that will not require parts.
Bad news:
-It could be a plethora of other problems that really need to be seen firsthand to diagnose, unless someone gets lucky.
So, from there, I have to recommend that you take it to someone that knows what they are doing, though if you keep posting pics and giving info there is a chance that we may get lucky and figure it out.

Hmmm...ironically, the gearbox stuckmojo gave me is missing the little post.
And I will have you take a look at it sometime next month when I get some more money. I also turn 15 so I will have more job options.

Here is an idea... Check the current and resistance of the wires. I just now though of it, but it is worth a shot...

A multimeter if you have one. It is just a suggestion and only can happen if you have a multimeter handy. Which not many people do unless you know someone in the electrical field.Chippy wrote: What should I use to do that?

Ohh. If it comes down to that I'm putting in low resistance wiring.

Well, depending one how it is shorting (if it is) it may or may not simply require some electrical tape, or a quick solder.

Re: JG G3. No power.
Ill post up some pictures tomorrow when I have time to open up the gearbox.
On a side note, I plan on buying a CA G36C off of Stomper but the gun won't go to safety. How easy of a fix is that? I'm not sure if it just wont turn to safety or if it shoots while on safety.

Depends on what part is broken, I don't remember.

Re: JG G3. No power.
Ok, I will just have to extra careful when using it.
And I do recall seeing a tiny tiny bit of 'silver' wire exposed where the positive motor wire connects to the copper part. I also believe I saw part the attached wire almost coming off. I will have to look into tomorrow though.
