i am going to try to fix my current one tonight, but if i cant i will probably buy it from you when i have the money (probably by OP: Phantom Hawk 2).

First: This is clearly a technical topic, moved.
Second: Danny's GB is a good deal for only $80.
Third: Adding electrical tape to a small section of wire is not difficult and certainly isn't "rewiring" it.
