Okay so I have been trying to decide how to put an M249 box some way on L86. Now there is no good way to mOunt it because of the bullpup style weapon. Now I saw this

Could I run these longer springs maybe from an m249 pouch on my side? Or is this a foolish dream

If you try to do it from a pouch on your side I foresee it not only getting caught or crimped on and between everything, but I don't think the mechanics of the mag exert enough pressure to push the massive amount of BBs that would be inside the feeding tube all at once. This is, however, merely speculation.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't any CMag work in that gun? The L85/L86 uses a standard M4 midcap or hicap, so unless the outside of the magwell is too big it should lock right in.
There's no kill switch on awesome!

Re: Support weapon help
The magwell is a lot deeper than a normal M4

Re: Support weapon help
you could use those double m4 mag things that are two like glued together but electric and holds 1000 rounds.

Re: Support weapon help
if you knew someone who was good at modifying things they could probably chop a standard c-mag and scab on a taller part from a m4 lowcap, so that it would fit in the deeper magwell. or chop the magwell a little if you didn't mind sacrificing a little bit of the body of the gun.
I've considered doing something like that to fit a C-mag underneath the EGLM grenade launcher on my scar, but I kinda figured it'd make the gun look terrible
