Trigger locking on semi-auto

Post by Muff-in » Wed Mar 21, 2012 11:48 pm

Ok so I just finished lubing everything inside my gearbox. I put everything back together and realized whenever I shoot the gun on semi-auto, the trigger stays back and I have to push it forward to shoot again. It works fine on full auto. Anybody know the cause of this?

You probably forgot the trigger spring.

No. I'm not that ignorant ;) It springs back just fine on full-auto so that couldn't be the case.

Nope, that's definitely the issue. It springs back on full auto because the trigger sled spring pulls the trigger back in place. You are missing your main trigger spring. You'll need to open up your gearbox and reinstall it, or install it correctly.

Ok, so it is installed, but I must not have it in correctly. How is the spring supposed to go in? I've looked for tutorials but can't seem to find any.

If it's anything like the AEG's I've worked on; try to find the most difficult place it will fit in, then shred your fingers up for half an hour trying to put it there.

Theres a hole in the top part of the trigger you put the small part of the spring in there and youll probably figure out the rest.
