Some M249 Mod Questions

So i'm about to purchase a friends A&K M249, and I was wondering if anyone knew any of the Box mag or Hop-up mods?

I know there are at least 3 on the box mag, where you can 1) exchange the feeding tube, 2) dremmel the screw holders, and 3) hook up a bigger battery. If you have any information on any of them please put them up, because I have little to no idea what any of them really mean or how they are performed.

And then the hop up is just an old M249 problem. R-hop to fix it?

Well I dont know for sure if this will work on yours I have the a&k m60e4 I know the hop up is the same and also the gearbox but I have this mod done on mine and it works great hope it helps.
