Is the madbull Ultimate Hopup Unit M4 worth the price?

Hey guys,
Is the madbull Ultimate Hopup Unit M4 worth the price? and is it compatible with kwa m4s? Also if any of you have it what are your opinions and what barrel do you use it with, do you change the bucking and the nub. if so, what do you change it to. Thank you for your input, anything helps.

It is if you know what you are doing, which is a wordy way of saying no, it's not.

KWA M4s use two piece hop up units. I'm afraid the only option you have is to purchase a replacement from KWA themselves.

I have used all sorts of barrels with my Madbull units, from PDI and Prometheus, to simple brass barrels.

I wouldn't suggest anything besides Madbull buckings for the unit. The blue one that comes with the unit is sufficient for most builds.

I prefer PDI 6.05 barrels that have been ER-hopped when funds allow. The best bucking and nub combo is the one that works, there is no best. Lonex, Madbull, Prometheus all make good buckings, and are considered top of the line, if that is what you are looking for.

I thought that too when I saw the pic of the hopup unit. The fact that it was a one piece. Thank you for you post, it was helpful.
