Im going for 350 with .25 so I can get 20 ft. med, and ill look at that advice crossfire. I'm going to update my list later after I make changes. The r-hop will be done by Daniel Shuler if he's still doing them, and ill be running 11.1. the wire set is to get rid of the fuse and im wanting to get a airsoft system ascu installed possibly.

I would take a look at the BTC chimera or Spectre before deciding on the ascu's. The ascu's have had many issues and product support has been lacking for some. Not to mention the ascu's really don't like water, while the BTC's have some mild water resistance.

If you're curious, scoot over to the forums on airsoftmechanics and look at the BTC concepts support thread. Owner/creator is there answering questions and providing support for each user.

Biggest problem is finding them in stock.

-New Version Mad Bull Airsoft Black Python 6.03mm tight Bore Inner AEG Barrel- want a new barrel since mines 2 years old and corroded recently
-Lonex Aluminum One Piece Metal Hopup- r-hopped by a tech
-Lonex TITAN Airsoft AEG Motor - Torque & Speed / Long
-Systema M110 Airsoft AEG Spring (340~360 FPS)
-Lonex / ASG 8mm Ball Bearings
-Scatterplot SorboPads - (1/4" / Hardness: 70 / Bore-up)

A LOT of your parts are a lot more fancy/ expensive than you need.
Piston: I'd just go with one of the SHS Blue pistons. They're cheap and they work.
Hopup: R-Hop is good. I wouldn't see a need for a schmancy lonex chamber

Motor: is it the A2 Orange motor?

Systema springs are expensive, not particularly necessary. Guarder SP series springs are nice, just be aware they are rated differently. SHS springs are okay from what I've seen.

Is your gearbox an 8mm? Not all bearings are compatible with every gearbox.

A cylinder is just an empty piece of metal. There isn't a need for fancy brands. That said, I've got no idea how much the angel one is.

Mosfets: if you are more confident in your soldering skills, check out SW mosfets, like a Cheetah 2N. It isn't as simple to drop in as a btc, but it isn't tough.

well romba that is true to an extent. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

Piston: I prefer the Lonex Red piston, the only one I like better is a Systema Supercore but since it is stupid expensive the Lonex Red works well enough for me. The SHS blue is a good piston, but I have seen 3 break all in the same spot and I have yet to break or see a broken Lonex red. Not saying that is impossible to break as I am sure the can be broken, as a certain someone has proven to me nothing is unbreakable in the right hands. I just have yet to see one. The only real down fall to the lonex red is that it is heavy, swiss cheesing solves that issue.

Spring: I'm going to avoid the systema spring, as everyone know's my views on Systema lol.

Inner barrel: I would spend a little extra to get a stainless steel barrel. They are worth it. Heck even madbull came out with a new stainless one, IDK how good it is (OH KORY). But if you cannot afford a PDI then I would suggest a prometheus. They are not terribly expensive ($50-60) for the size you want

As for the cylinder, ya a cheap one will work, how well? Well that is depending, if it had bad QC or just poor manufacturing it could be scratched/tarnished or worse on the inside. This causes inconstancies as the O-ring on the piston head cannot seal as well thus leading to leaks and fps variations.

MOSFET: If you do wind up going with a BTC, get the specter as it is completely contained in side your gearbox, unlike it predecessor the Chimera, which was fairly bulky and external.

I don't know about my bearing size. Its a stock combat machine. The lonex motor is a titan torque and speed. I switched out for a matrix irregular pitch m100. The angel custom one has good reviews and is a complete setup at a good deal. Since the promethesus is out of stock, I checked out the modify "SS+AL" Hybrid 6.03mm Precision AEG Inner Barrel and it seemed cool. The lonex hop up is only $16 so its not that fancy. lol. does anyone know where I could get a spectre since I cant really solder.

Bearing size is 8mm. Lonex does not make good bearings. Go with G&P or Modify Ceramics. The Ceramics are a little more expensive, but much stronger.

Systema makes good springs (gasp!) They last long, they are consistent, well made, and comparable in price to other springs. If thats what he wants, it's fine by me. SHS springs are too much of a hit or miss, imo. You get what you pay for. I don't trust matrix internals. They go with the cheapest bidder, usually SHS or someone with lesser QC.

Modify barrels are not recommended.

Escue Airsoft sells drop in R-hoped Madbull barrels and Element Hop up units for $70.

The Lonex motor is an A2. That is the torque, that is the orange.

It's possible that you could get away without soldeirng with an Extreme-Fire mosfet, depending on how long the wires coming from your trigger are.

Thanks for the advice, I updated the list and that sounds good on the barrel set-up. Would a basic mosfet work, or do I need a programmable?

A basic mosfet works, but you'll need to solder for those. http://extreme-fire.com/2011-SW-SF-II.html This is the cheapest mosfet that doesn't require soldering from them. You'll need to get the wiring kit to go with it though.

I was planning on getting a the mosfet installed since im not good with electronics and only need one with new wires since I want to get rid of the stupid fuse. About how much would it cost to have a mosfet installed with new wires to motor.

If you want 340-360 with a .25, you'll want a something stronger than a M110. Probably M120

I found a guy who may be able to find a chimera seller. I'm using a irregular, it's rated to 380, would that be good?

Irregular doesn't change the output FPS. M110 is a M110, which *MIGHT* get you 380fps with a .20 and a 500mm 6.01 barrel... but you probably want a M120.

Don't Swiss cheese your piston, the heavier weight will give you more consistency.
