The m100 is rated to 380, im worried about going over with the m120. I'm not going to swiss cheese it. how hard is it to install a chimera mosfet?

If you go over, you can just cut the spring down a little bit. Better than being 40fps lower than your goal, which it's more likely going to be. You can assume about a 40fps drop when changing from .20g bbs to .25s. So that spring will be 310-340 fps with a .25. And most likely on the lower end of that range, because of the shorter barrel length.

I highly suggest avoiding a Chimera and finding a Spectre mosfet. Chimera requires install of tiny, very fragile data wires to go from the trigger mech to the actual mosfet brick, which, you also have to find space for inside the gun somewhere. The Spectre has the mosfet mounted on board the trigger mech.

In order:
-just to be sure you're aware, the 340-360 fps is with a 0.2g BB, not a 0.25g, so you'll be in the very bottom of the 20ft MED fyi. If you're shooting for 350 w/ 0.25 (~400 w/ 0.2) this spring won't get you there.

-I agree with Star_folder, Lonex bearings aren't the best, I do have a setup running well with them however. If steel bearings are a must, my favorite have been G&P so far. Otherwise, take Star's advice and go for the ceramics.

-1/4" sorbo is likely going to adjust the piston too far back if you're gluing to the back of the rubber bumper, engaging the sector at around 11 o'clock instead. If you remove the bumper and install by itself, it likely won't be thick enough and you could supplement with some neoprene. Good choice on hardness, but you've listed one for a bore up cylinder. Likely won't work for a standard one.

If you're going to glue directly to the back of the stock cylinder head bumper, then yes, 1/8" is just about perfect.

When I had one the best PDMRs built for me w/ a 398ish fps w/ .25s a pdi 6.05 barrel, er hop, siegtek gears, all compression mods, I was getting a little over 275ft. So 300 ft w/ 350 fps is a lil bit high expectations, 200 ft sounds more realistic. ZCI air nozzles work well and are cheap, the new shs 13:1 gears hold up pretty darn good, I def. recommend a pdi barrel and a er hop, and follow any advice star folder gives, he makes some of the best pdmrs/dmrs i have seen, skywalker makes a "few" good ones too, they are just too long.
