Re: What M4 midcaps should I get?
my MAG mids are going to be here tomorrow. Is it acceptable to break them in by loading them, letting them sit, and unloading them a few times b4 TDC?
Re: What M4 midcaps should I get?
I wouldn't let them sit for long, you don't want to mess the spring up. What I did when I got mine was only load about 80 bb's in them. The 120 number is pushing it they actually only hold about 100 without risk of breaking them. IMO 80 is plenty though especially if you have 8 mags.

OK, so load em up and let em sit for what, 5-10 minutes?
Re: What M4 midcaps should I get?
You're not going to wear them out. My MAG mids are over 4 years old, and I left two of them loaded way back in January. They fed flawlessly when I got them out a couple of days ago. Load 90-100 BBs in, leave them loaded for a couple of days, and then see how they feed.

^ I tried this but it did not work for me, I left them in for like 3 days, and same crap feed results after. Maybe Steevo has some super ninja powers that I don't.

That what it is, everything air-soft always works for steevo because they are scared he will take them apart if they don't.

Haha I shall do that Steevo.

Make sure you not let your mags sit loaded for days. This can put an incredible amount of stress on your mag springs, and your mags won't last long.
Plus, don't "overload" the mags. My magazine capacity is 80 rounds, I always only load 70 to 75 BBs. In order to do this, load up your mags, and manually take out a few BBs by pushing the little tap on the top of the magazine back.

If you do happen to do this and it no longer works properly due to the spring having been compressed, simply remove it and stretch it out a bit.Vesper wrote:Make sure you not let your mags sit loaded for days.
