There is no 'buy this hop up to make your gun kick all other guns a$$es for life!'

The best results I've seen have come from that design. Romba, the answers to all of your questions are out there, if you would just look....... instead of racking up your post count. Lol 500 in 3 months?

That being said, at least you're trying to learn. I'd rather you post 500 times than just disappear :)

There's also the firefly design of bucking with it's flat nub, I have gotten excellent results with that type. Then of course there are the widely favored H nubs with standard buckings, or the hard type nubs, or the concave nubs, or the homemade hard type nubs from pens, then the design skywalker posted. ALL of these are claimed as the best hopup type by many reputable people, they all can get great results. The latest KWA hopups are reported to be excellent by many people as well, so you may have no reason to change anything other than the spring. What kind of groupings do you get ATM at 100ft?

Online homeschooled?

Do you not play well with others..... lol

Romba I'd experiment with using the hard nubs from pens. Its the cheapest way to upgrade to a hard type nub.

... do you need me to tell you how? haha ;)

haha the middle schools in my area (your's too) are a bit sketchy (to my parents)so after 2 different private schools (not to brag but they were too easy and offered no advanced classes) for 6th and 7th grades, we tried this. I hate it. Miss the social aspect of school. Going to a charter high school next year. you might know it- Brasier Middle College Charter High School? I love the long name.

NO I think I can figure out the nub. ;)

these will make it nearly silent!!

but seriously you;ll want a proper shim job, proper lube, a good motor set at the proper height and a good strong battery. Most of the noise our guns makes comes from the mechanicals. A foam filled "barrel extension" ;) will muffle or dull the sound of the air escaping the end of the barrel if you leave the stock barrel in it.
Say what you want, think what you want, it won't change the fact that AJAX will do what we want, when we want, including roll the ____ over you.

fine print: sometimes I'm serious and post middle of the ground statements based on logic, other times I will post something absurd just to point out the sheer lunacy of someone's opinion. Other times I may post something directed specifically at another forum member just to be a smartass. Don't take it personally, it's all in good fun.

No need to quote my PM to you Romba, but I am certain I have given a complete list on what all will reduce AEG noise before...

The highest torque gears will give you the quietest gearbox, =the slowest moving parts. Silencer helps.. silent piston head/sorbo helps... lots of lube and helical gears...

Here is a pretty in depth build to make a quiet AEG

You must first find a noob. Then you make them really small and hence you have a nub :D

The KWA hopup is proprietary to match the different nozzle KWA installs into the gearbox. There is a notch inside the hopup where the top of the nozzle meets up. Don't change the hopup. Also, the hopup unit itself is very tight and the stock 2G bucking (4 fins like the Firefly) is very thin. Your selection of buckings is VERY limited. I've tried many to fit in the hopup of my KWA M4 and KWA M16, and I always went back to the stock KWA buckings because they were the easiest to install.

I installed a Madbull Shark bucking in Gambler's SR5 at a game with no silicon oil and no tools. It was easy, and the results were phenominal.

...

Just sayin ;)
