1: It is stopping randomly because the cutoff lever is either lubed or worn down; or the power train is a bit too much. This is not a major problem and will not cause misfeading.
2: If, when in the resting position (discharged after firing) you can't see the whole airnozzle in the hopup chamber than you have a problem, as it's job is to sit all the way forward to push the BB into the hopup and form a seal with the bucking at the barrel.
3: If, when you fire the airnozzle does not pull all the way back (far enough for a BB to move up in front of it) then it will not feed. This is what Stephen and his bro are talking about.
4: If the airnozzle were not attached to the tappet plate, it would not be being pulled back, this is not the case.
5: When everything is assembled, is the chamber pressed firmly up against the GB? Is the rear "lip" fitting inside the GB about 3mm so the outside is flush? When it has been discharged on semi, is the airnozzle all the way forward? When you pull the trigger, does it come all the way backward? If you insert a mag and push forward on the bottom rear, does it feed then? Give us specific symptoms; does it not feed at all, double feed, feed every other round, how often does it feed properly, etc.?

Re: M4 Not feeding
It is just randomly feeding, not feeding, feeds a few more rounds, doesn't feed a few shots, ect.
I'll look at it again in a couple hours when I go to lunch, but if I remember correctly it was about what you described with #2. w/e it is, I'm thinking it's the air nozzle tho because the mags definitely aren't the problem and it is not double feeding which seems would indicate a hop up problem.

Re: M4 Not feeding
Alright. I just checked, and when shot on semi it sometimes stops all the way in the hop up unit sometimes only halfway in. I'm about to break down the gun a bit to check.
Edit: Yeah, it's not stopping at a consistent distance into the hop up. the nozzle is sometimes not as far out of the gearbox.

Re: M4 Not feeding
Inconsistency alone should not cause a feeding issue, and many guns do so in semi due to too powerful of a drivetrain for the cutoff lever or a worn down or lubed cutoff lever. This is what I was saying in #1.
What is a problem is if, at some point in the cycle, it is not all the way back so the BB can get in, and all the way forward so their is a tight seal. Answer all of #5.
