CM M4 firing issues

Ok, my buddy just bought a Combat Machines M4 and hes having issues with it.  Some of the Alphas from redfox last weekend may remember this.  After playing most the morning the gun began firing slowly.  Believing it was the battery, it was replaced, however the gun continued to fire slowly.  Changing the battery a second time had no effect.  Eventually it ceased operation all together.  Fuse was intact.  The next day, the gun fired normally, for approximately 2-3 hi cap mags before doing the same thing.  With out breaking open the gearbox, im at a loss for what it could be.  Any help would be appreciated.

Is the gun stock?

Could need a new motor, have you tested that?

could it possibly be the wiring? It sounds like it could be a short somewhere, which would explain why it fires fine then slows down. And are you sure both batteries were totally charged?

Well the only G&G I have ever had did something like this. Turned out to be the G&G motor just wore out. If you know someone with another long type motor try putting it in there and see if the problem continues. It may be the battery but if it did the same thing with both batteries then I would check the motor as it is really simple to do. Good luck.

It is best to catch me during weekends.
I'm going to be in Simpsonville area, and there is where all my tools and guns are.

The most likely case is that the motor completely burnt out.

Something is missing here, motors don't die and then act fine and then die again. Have an experienced tech do an actual diagnosis.
