How to strip/chip paint off from the gun.

Now, I'm not talking about a spray-painted gun. I'm talking about the original black paint that comes with the gun in order to expose the original silver color of metal.
I'm thinking about stripping the paint off of the buffer tube and the barrel.
Any help?

Funny you should ask, I just started stripping the paint off my outer barrel yesterday.
Take a knife, and very carefully make a small scratch in the paint. Or, if the barrel is already scratched up, that works too. After that, take steel wool and work the paint off, starting at that scratch. That's how I've done mine, and it's worked fine.

Has anyone tried acetone or some other paint stripping chemical?

Go to NAPA/Autozone and look for Aircraft Paint Stripper. Used that stuff to remove the paint on my ZX-7 rims. Then polished them up. If that doesn't take it off, then sandblasting would be the best.

If you need to, I could let you use my sand blaster. Not an industrial one, It's just some tips/suction hose for my air compressor. Still have some sand too.

Haven't seen aircraft stripper in a while at my local napa, don't think they carry it anymore.
