I want to put a tight bore barrel in my MK and found a site showing how to take out the outer barrel from the gun. I did this but was unable to figure out how to get the inner barrel out. Can someone help me and tell me how to get it out of the outer barrel.
Thanks

You do not have to remove the outer barrel to remove the inner barrel and hopup chamber. You have to remove the stock and then the lower receiver, then slide the hopup chamber and barrel out the back of the upper receiver/outer barrel.

Dom, you don't have to take off the stock on a G36.. just fold it. Unless you're taking about taking the hex bolt out of the back were the stock foldins.

Removing the upper barrel assembly is probablly and easier way to do it, since you can remove it without taking out the gearbox or anything like that. DO NOT PULL HTE INNER BARREL OUT BY FORCE! This is an expensive ($25+shipping) mistake to make. Believe me i know. Push the inner barrel and hopup assembly, and turn it counter clockwise, it should make a quarter turn and when you let off hte pressure, it should come right out. good luck.

Villid, looks like I found out your mistake the hard way. I pulled to hard and the hop up unit broke to pieces. Ordered one a little bit ago.

sounds like you did something differnt from me. my hopup stayed intact, i broke the catches on the barrel assembly that hold the barrel and hopup in place. either way the cost is about the same. hope you took the time to order an upgraded bucking and nub since youve got it apart anyway
