Whattup tech heads!

I have aquired a Para SAW.. Always wanted one of these, as it will help when im in support mode.

What I want is a vicious rate of fire. Would putting a high speed motor and a higher voltage battery do serious damage to the stock gears or should I install high speed gears as well..

I would like it shooting according to AOSC rules, 400 with a 2.5. and im not sure if a high speed set up is good for a 120 or 130 spring..

Or can I bypass the high speed idea with a high torque set up and run a high voltage battery.. ( and with the trigger mechanism in the saw, is it safe to run high voltage???

Sorry for the questions, ive read a bit but I wanted another opinion..

Also, is it a good idea to scrap the stock A&K hop up and go with a CA or something.. I kinda have the stock one rigged with the pen tube fix and its better, but is there a way to get good accuracy out of a saw? Like a TB, particular bucking and nub...

I'd definitely replace the stock gears. I ran my stock A&K SAW on a 11.1 15c lipo, and the gears shredded after 20,000 rounds. Apart from that though, the rest of the internals stood up to the lipo with no problem.

You will want new gears for sure if you are doing anything other then stock. I stripped my a&k gears, the hop up is the same as the CA one my hop up was fine after 2 or 3 years I just had to replace the bucking and nub but if you are having trouble replace it. The trigger switch works like a mosfet so it is good there but if it is the stock one your switch will go out soon they always do.

thats whats in mine and a supercore piston, it also has a madbull 509 tb( i have the mk2), its running a huge 4600 mah large 9v
this is a Nashville Airsoft job, should have it back after xmas!
before all this is still shot fast and far..but also had the bucking loss problem.
i also havea non-braking steevofet in there.

You really just want range/ROF over accuracy....yor job is to sit back and rain plastic hell while your rifle guys go in!

I'm really curious about what that will actually do. I'm hoping it will solve the infamous trigger switch problem.

Since you guys brought up the switch, you guys ever have this strange thing happen?

Pull the trigger and it does not stop firing.. ... .. and the only way to make it stop is.... umm.. you release the barrel??? wt???

Seriously, what does releasing the barrel have to do with the trigger mech???

Classic Army and A&K support guns all use a small switch instead of the traditional mechanical trigger. It has a nasty tendency to burn out, and will do things like you mentioned above.

as for releasing the barrell, i would THINK u would unplug the batt?

as for seing my SAW...its also getting a custom tiger camo paintjob!

aluminum cylinder head, pref double seal
Very durable but light piston, second to last tooth removed (heard good things about the supercore)
Aluminum ported piston head (take the BBs off of the piston head if you get on with them)
BB metal guide rod
Should already have BB bushings
short type high speed/good or high torque motor
polycarb or aluminum airenozzle w/oring
extra switches for when your gives out
HQ bucking
11.1v 2200mah+ 20C+ LiPo or similar batt
may want to get a better tappet plate, as the stock one may not last long

^This will get you exactly what you want, range, high ROF, and durability (about as much as can be had)
