Friggin' G36c Large hand-guard doesn't like my Deans connectors and 9.6

I cant seem to get my new soldered battery to fit inside my large handguard, made specifically for the battery.. Every time i put it in the deans connectors seem to get lodged between the flashhider and battery, or something along those lines.
Question is does anyone have any hints or help on how to get my big battery to fit?

there should be a channel on the left hand side of the barrel assembly where the wires are nestled to keep them from getting in the way of the handguard closing. The deans should sit in there decently well.

I'm not an airsoft tech, but I am good with electrical stuff. If you want, I can help you. If you don't trust me, I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who would do it for you. It only takes a couple minutes. There are tools made specifically for this, but you can do it with a soldering iron, solder, and a knife just fine. You need wires, too, of course.
If your going to Phantom Hawk and you want me to help you, PM me.

Ok, you must realize i do not know how to do that
ill google it.
I forced the deans into the box you were talking about and i went to put the handguard on, and turns out theres a small tab thats hitting the battery wires, not allowing it to be complete. I think ive heard something like this happening with the large hanguards but i want to ask you guys, should i cut the small tab?
THE TAB

I cant remember out of Steevols, Dom, or Jeremy who sent me to the youtube solder videos for my last broken deans in this gun, but thats the first time i used it. I did an ok job, but did wayyy better this time on the battery.
Ok so i disassembled the gun, cut the tab, and reassembled. Im going to see if it fits now.

Upon jamming and ripping and general force using, my powers have revealed that the deans connectors are just too big to fit. The little box earlier mention is where they're supposed to go, but i need to 'splice' the wires to make it just a little longer. Any help on that?

blame Echo1 on the short wires... I cut then at the back of the taimya connector...
if you were in MB I could help you.. but you're not.. so I can't... maybe Dom can help you out since he's a bit closer to you.

I would but the issue with that is that hes an hour away and he likes eating my green stuff.. lol
I can get it, i just need to buy some wires. What wires would be good? i know that there are low resistant wires inside the gun, but theyre not connected to this Deans.

Bring an inverter (I don't have one), and I'll do it at the game on Saturday. It will take me about a minute.

Yea I can't get to mine so please bring yours Gambler. I can bring my solder gun and solder too if needed. All i need to do is extend the wire about a quarter of an inch or so inside the gun and it should be able to fit, if not then the battery would be extended but i highly doubt that would be needed.
Thank you guys for helping

Go ahead and bring the gun. Ideally you'd use a soldering IRON, but it's going to be a field repair as it is.

I have a iron, but i mis-call it a gun. Its brand new with all the tips needed. I have some 14 gauge wires ill bring for the extending, i hope they're the correct size.
