bolt problem

Post by Chippy » Sat Jan 15, 2011 11:06 pm

...already a problem..
I have the echo1 m28 and i have put less than 10 rounds through it. I pulled the bolt back normally and it wouldn't push back into place. Since the bolt felt dry I just put some lube on the bolt. I then tried to push it back into place and it wouldn't budge. I pushed a harder and it went back into place but it also shot without having to trigger pulled. please let me know whats wrong and how I can fix it.

Thanks, kyle.

the trigger sear is broken....is it still under warranty
the piston could have chipped and not be catching the sear but my money is riding on a broken trigger sear on this one

Well....I replaced the orange flash hider with the threaded adapter that it came with...and the orange plastic broke in the process. Sssooo....I guess not.

It uses 45 degree trigger sears, so I may be able to find a replacement. This is actually really disappointing; less than 10 rounds :O

Call them or send them an email and im sure they would take care of it for you.....since it does come with the threaded adaptor tell them you lost the orange one already and see what they suggest

I'm going to do that in the morning. What I might do is buy a TM sear set and use those if echo1 doesn't help. I've been searching on the internet and thankfully they are compatible.

Thanks for your help...again :p

Personally, I would use this as an excuse to buy a reinforced sear set. Your sniper rifle has to eventually be upgraded to compete with an AEG, so why not start now?

Stomper has a good point, and my money is with Smoke's. Upgrade it now, stock chiclone bolt actions are fairly pointless.

That's what i was thinking. The TM VSR sear parts and upgrades fit in so I'm just going to get those. Anyone want to install them? :D

Thanks dom! Any suggestions on what sears to get? pretty sure it takes all 45° ones but TM VSR sears fit for sure.
