Post by cripto » Sat Jan 22, 2011 1:48 pm

Well my bro just bought a mk96 and now when you pull the bolt back it doesnt lock. I have absolutely no experience with sniper rifles.

Actually I took it apart and apparently the spacer was broken. the pieces had jammed into the cylinder so it wouldn't catch. He bought it off craigslist so...yeah no warrenty. Thanks guys!

Are you talking about the spacers that help hold the cylinder in the receiver?....They look like plastic rings?

that is the base of the spring guide and what the sear locks onto.  Get a new spring guide that is metal and that should fix your problems.
