One of my future projects is to put together a canadian c7a1. my plan is to take a m16 and just morph it into a c7 but the m16 has a "righty" selecter switch while the c7 is double-sided.
Would I be able to add a double sided switch to a m16? I have never worked with one before so I have no clue if it is possible.

The only easy way to add one would be to buy a SR16/SR15 with the ambi selector and use that as your base gun. An ambidextrous selector requires a different gearbox shell and selector assembly.
There's no kill switch on awesome!
