battery recomendation
ok i have a question here and i need some advice. i am fixing to do some upgrades to our guns and drop a m130 spring in them. now im turning the m16 into a support gun and putting a box mag on. the m4 will be for red and just a normal assualt weapon. my question is this...what kind of batteries should i put in them. i dont fully understand the difference between lippo's and regular batteries other than the rate of fire. i found a 10.8 2500 mah battery for 25 dollars on the internet and a 11.1 1600mah lippo for about the same price which would be better for our guns and why. any suggestions and recommendations would be helpful. keep in mind that we are putting high torque gears and m130 springs in our guns

Re: battery recomendation
An M16 with a Box mag is not a support weapon. It is still an M16 with a Box mag. Box mags do not turn non support weapons into support weapons. I could throw my drum mag from my RPK on my AK, but that doesn't turn the AK into a support weapon either.
My post is not soley for this thread either. I have heard many people call a rifle with a bod mag a support weapon. M249's, M240, M60's , RPK's and the L85 support gun config are support weapons. For airsoft it really doesn't matter since FA is allowed with any gun shooting up to 400 fps.

You name a game, I've been to it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

I dunno if you saw this post, but since I can't answer your question, I'll post a link to Steevol's Lipo thread http://www.southcarolinaairsoft.com/forums/http://www.southcarolinaairsoft.com/newforums/viewtopic.php?t=4

You probably should upgrade your mechbox shell just to be sure it can handle the heavier spring. Systema makes a good one. Ive seen 130 springs crack stock mechboxes.
