I own a Echo 1 MP5 PDW and was wondering what you guys think for mods and upgrades I should get for it.

Well, what do you want to do with it? Do you want it to have a higher rate of fire, higher fps, just really reliable?

You can't do much of anything to the outside of those guns. If anything, run a longer inner barrel and upgrade your hopup bucking and nub. Unless you want higher FPS, I would do anything to the gearbox other than getting it reshimmed.

Well I plan on doing all that to it. But also I am kinda looking for some external upgrades if y'all know of any. Any suggestions on what kind of internals I should get?

Well you could make one of the most original guns ever, put a foot long scope, a large m203, maybe a PEQ box or two. The possibilities are endless!

Truthfully id say get a nice silencer, but thats because i love the SD model of Mp5s

Internally depends if you want a CQB or a field gun.

you forgot 2 flashlights and a red laser Felix.

Really though, what do you want on it? That list of items you have for the gun VS have on the gun might change based on what kind of game you're heading to as well.

Either way I like RIS or SD fronts.  HK style clamp on scope mount and a solid stock but that's me.  Asking what external mods to put on a gun is like asking what you should wear today, it all depends on what you're going to be doing.  Just don't load it up with a bunch of crap you'll never use, keep it simple, keep it functional.  No need for 4x ACOG in a CQB setting and no need to a 200 lumen flashlight when playing a daytime game, nawmeen? But those things would be good to have if the situations change.
Say what you want, think what you want, it won't change the fact that AJAX will do what we want, when we want, including roll the ____ over you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure MP5Ks are not compatible with standard, RIS, and SD front ends, aswell as their stocks.

if you have dremel skills....turn it into a swordfish...makes it look damn cool. other than that..leave it alone...i havea bone stock tm mp5k...its lil beast. not doing anything to it but adding a mp5k specific supresor to it.
if you have the $$ get a full size mp5 and have fun with it.
there is a ris for mp5k/pdw...doesnt really do much but you have to add a front grip sine it rplaces the stock one...
When you definitely need it killed overnight...

I wanna make it to where I can use it in both field and CQB. And I already have a homemade silencer. The externals i like but would like a rail system if they make one for it so I could add a flashlight or laser.

There is no rail system available. You have the least modifiable MP5 variant available. The only parts I can think of are a replacement foregrip with a handstop and a sling plate. You can also buy a threaded muzzle adapter, but that barely counts.

I recently acquired a TM Mp5, and asked myself the same question you have.  The only external mod that I really liked was the swordfish like Iron said.  Here is a look at one, plus other mods...

Probably not the best mod if you're taking it out of a cqb role.

OP: The Assassination of a World Leader (AF)

OP: Strategies of War (RF)
OP: Attrition (AF) (Co)

I do like the rail system. But not so much the end of the front it looks kinda like a zombie slayer front to me.

I like that swordfish thing. If I had an unlimited supply of money, I'd get an E1 Zombie Killer M4.
