AK74u Flash Hider p****** me off

AK74 U, Echo 1, Red Star, Full metal, The front flash hider will not come off. It is being so stubborn I want to punch a wall trying to get it off it gets me so mad. Today I boiled some water, stuck the flash hider in there, in doing so I was hoping to melt the glue that may be on the little pin on that flash hider type. After I pulled it out of holding it in the boiling water for around 2 minutes, I got a hammer and nail, and went at it. Nothing, same results as doing it without boiling the gun in water. I have to assume now that there is no glue and when it was made it was ruined from the start, what now? I need the threads, but don't care about that fugly flash hider.

It doesn't have to to with the threading, that gay little pin won't budge at all, and for anything to move, it has to go in, and it won't...

right, sorry i was jumping ahead. if the threads aren't right at the end of the gun, i have a re-threading die that can fix them if they get muffed up

Sorry bout not reading that, mind skipped it.
The only think that I can think to do is to actually keep putting it under hot water and keep hitting the pin. I has to give some time.

Cut the pin off, then unscrew. There isn't much need for that pin anyway.

Will you be at the upcoming wellford came? Is it possible to do it there?

It depends on if I get my gun working that I could potentially use at wellford. ... Yeah just fixing a messed up thread I could probably do at the game
