Sniper Rifle
Okay, so I'm seriously considering building a DMR or Sniper Rifle out of this:
http://www.airsplat.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic ... DSW99%2D02
Or this:
http://www.airsplat.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic ... DSW99%2D01
I want to build a rifle from the second one, because I like bolt actions, and because the cheaper base gun leaves more money for parts.
So, is the second gun upgradeable, and where should I start upgrading oneither one?
Thanks for reading!

Re: Sniper Rifle
But a VSR10 is not a ridiculously overpowered, heavy and intimidating rifle. I'm really only interested in one of these two rifles, or an M60 VN if this doesn't work out.

Google.
But Revs right.
And its 16 pounds. I dont think you could carry 10 pounds all day.

Re: Sniper Rifle
Google didn't help me on this.
I could manage to carry this all day, as my current rig ways about 20, and I would cut down to my camelback and alittle ammo as a sniper.

Re: Sniper Rifle
A rig is distributed a hell of a lot differently that a rifle, in any case. My M14 has got to be 12 pounds i think, and i get tired from using it al day long, and I work out and so forth.
Either way, as said before, no one really knows about these guns, except Iron Chef.

Re: Sniper Rifle
Okay, I'll probably PM him about it.
I'm asking more about how to upgrade what parts and why, more than if the bolt action is upgradeable.

Does the air nozzle affect accuracy?

Re: Sniper Rifle
Okay, so I read on the NCAO that it is compatible with APS2 upgrades.
I'm going to find out what an APS2 is

Has it occurred to you to even touch a search engine? Almost nobody in this region owns one of these, and this thread has yielded nothing in the past 10 posts.

Yeah, I've used a search engine. How ever, I've never upgraded ANYTHING before, and I need advice/guidance from designated marksmen and snipers like you and Kory.

Re: Sniper Rifle
You asked for advice, and said you value the input of more experienced players. Carrying around nearly 20 pounds of metal that will be full of poorly QC'd and out of spec parts is not worth the trouble. The best way to get in to "sniping" is to buy a rifle that someone else already spent way too much money on.
