I want to upgrade my spring in my G36c. I had to replace the gearbox with this one
http://ontargetairsoft.com/store/index. ... cts_id=118
nothing is done to the gearbox itself, i had to swap the wires because i did not have the tamiya connector to connect the fuse.
what would be the highest spring i can do beyond upgrading the motor to stay 390 - 400?
i love staying in full auto
any input is welcomed

An M130 ( you meant 390-400 with .25s, right? ) That gearbox is pretty hardy, and that motor can pull the spring back.

Ah, ok, then an M130 is what you are looking for, though it may be a little short of your goal, it won't go over it. If you REALLY want to get your spring up that high, you might want to try to get an M140, and then short stroke, or cut coils off the spring until it's under the 400fps limit.
The motor should still be able to pull the M140, but you may need to use a bigger battery depending on what you have. Either way, your rps will take a hit from the larger spring. It may just be a good idea to replace the motor with a better torque motor to keep a good rps with the higher fps.

not worried about rof, my concerned is fps and range. i saw on here the fps limit before i would have to be in semi, but can't find it. i figured the motor would be swapped for a high torque one. and i am using a 7.4 lipo battery in my G36c.

You will probably need to increase something in the power train to effectively pull it, simplest would be the battery. The limit prior to semi only is 400 w/.25gs. However, you will still have a 50' MED just under that limit.
BTW, why on earth did you have to replace the entire gearbox?

lets just say someone came to my room, and thought it would be fun to mess with it. next thing i know i am looking for a new gearbox. no idea where it is now. but no biggie. the one i got now is better anyway.

so you suggest getting a m140 spring to put in there?

No, he suggests an M130 or a custom modified slightly higher spring that is brought down to just under the limit. In other words, buy an M130.
