SRC SR4 Plastic Series Questions

If anyone has any information on the inside of the SRC SR4 plastic series, they are on Airsoft GI's website, and Evike's, and I need some more detailed info. I plan to upgrade it to the max, shim it, pretty much overhaul it but I would like to know what the inside of it looks like. I know it is a Version 2 M4 gearbox, M110 spring, steel gears, a high torque motor, and thats pretty much it. I would like to know what the piston looks like and the spring guide look like. Overall, it is a very good weapon, did me good at OP Flash Heaven and OP Frostbite (OP SOCO location). If anyone of you guys know anything about it, I would appreciate it very much. I'm still learning about AEG's internals, as I have not studied them greatly like sniper rifle internals (APS-2 best upgrade platform ever).

If you have one and you want to know what the insides look like, open it and find out.

I know that Dominum, I was just curious about it. I have not found time to open it, but I will soon.

Everything comes with a high torque motor these days, but that is simply a wild claim made by the manufacturer.
The main issue with the SRC plastic M4s is the receiver (these are the same as the Aftermath M4 you see at sporting goods stores). It's a plastic Tokyo Marui tab style receiver, and prone to failure around the tabs.
You want to upgrade this gun "to the max". What do you consider the max? I wouldn't worry about the gears much, but the piston, piston head, cylinder head, and hopup bucking would be the first things I replaced.

Have you got one with rails or round handguards. Mine has plain handguards(one of the Aftermathmodels models Steevo mention, picked it up for $80 before I found the AOSC.)

By the max I mean to replace the piston, spring guide if it is needed, piston head for sure, bucking like you said, the hop up as well because mine now is ok, but specter's JG m4 outranged it by a good distance. I do plan to upgrade the cylinder head as well. I do not feel the need to have a 400+ fps rifle, as mine chronos from 350-360 fps with a .20, which may be lowered in the future. Yes steevoLS you mentioned everything I was planning on upgrading, but could you explain to me what the 'tabs' are? Should I replace the reciever? And yes Avenger mine has plain handguards.

If you get the FPS you want, and the gun is running fine, why in the world would you replace anything in the gearbox? Just put some work into the hopup.

Well now that you say it, that may be the only thing I upgrade for a while. I've always thought that a MPEG's internals should be swapped.

MPEG? This is a metal gearbox TM clone M4, not a flea market gun.

My mistake, I think I have much to learn about AEG's. And just a few moments ago I called a friend that has two AGM metal recievers, and he has agreed to sell one to me. But thank you for the warning about the tabs, I now know what they are, and I have actually seen them before, I just didn't know they were called tabs really.
