M130 Spring Problems

Post by Muff-in » Thu May 03, 2012 7:36 pm

Ok, I just bought a Matrix irregular pitch m130 spring for my KWA SR12. I open the gearbox up, fix the AOE with a 70D 1/4" Sorbo pad, then covered that back up with the stock rubber pad from the piston head. When I went to put the spring it, it just will not fit in the gearbox. It's not a matter of strength as I am a big dude, so what can I do to solve this other than taking the Sorbo off. Can I cut the spring a bit and how much would that affect the FPS?

Thanks in advance.

Your spring will fit in your gearbox. It's not because of your sorbo padding that it isn't fitting, you just need to try harder.
