I have a we dragoon blowback pistol and one of the mags is leaking i bought a new fill valve and oring for it and it still leaks. Anyone know why.

Probably some o-rings somewhere have dried up, or aren't the proper size.

no i know there the right size cause the fill valve i got came with it and it was made for the gun model

Gas it up and stick it in a clear glass bowl with water. As it leaks out you will find were it is coming out of. But with my experince I have found it is the bottom cap oring. If you do not have some gas in it, it will shrink and will leak. Though all mags are different, I have found that m9 and 1911 mags bottom cap oring is a number 9 oring from lowes, in the plumbing section. Little lube and you will be good to go. But as with everything, verifiy the concern and locate the location of the leak.

Ghost is most likely correct. The source of the leak on Hicapa mags is almost always the base O ring. Assuming the leak is down there, just...
- remove the baseplate (push the springloaded pin in with a pencil or screwdriver, slide it forward)
- Remove the screw
- Magazine should come apart if you pull on the bottom segment. Be careful not to lose the spring or follower.
- Remove the O ring. Whether you replace it or not, you need to let it soak in silicone oil overnight. This will cause the ring to expand and soak up the oil.
- Reinstall O ring, reinstall follower and spring, screw everything back together.
- ? ? ?
- Profit!

I use an oring lube from tech t. I never thought of soaking over night. What silicon oil do you recommend, Steevo?

Go to a hobby shop (read: not Hobby Lobby) and ask for shock oil. 10-15weight should work for GBB purposes. You can ask for silicone oil, but they probably will only know it as shock oil. Make sure it's 100% silicone, and if you buy a spray silicone make sure the propellant is not propane or heptane based. If it is sprayed by CO2 or butane you'll be fine. Propane and heptane propellant can eat up plastic parts.

Spray, that I know from prior mess ups. Thanks next trip to Easley I will stop by that hobby store.
