I was wondering if anyone knows of any guids for installing mosfets on brick gearboxes.

Not really a need to do so, the trigger switch acts as a mosfet. One will not hurt but really not necessary

What about to save the trigger connections

The microswitch being a mosfet is a very common misconception. It is just a push button switch using a series of levers and springs to make contact and release the contact. In my experience, they are still weak, and in an untuned system burn out quickly. Besides a mosfet is ALWAYS a great upgrade for any gun, regardless of what kind of trigger it has. Breaking or non breaking, either kind will work. But for a support gun, just get a cheaper non-breaking fet.

The A&K mosfet isn't really a mosfet, it doesn't protect the trigger contacts, it only controls the amount of power that runs through the wires. I've also found that it's pretty weak, and burns out fairly easily. Besides, why would you want to limit your rate of fire when you have 2500 rounds at your disposal.

So how would I install it?

As for installation, that is a very good question. Bear in mind that the M60 is different from most AEGs in that it has an auto winding magazine which draws power directly from the primary battery to run BOTH the GB and the feeding system, AND it runs the power to the GB through a rheostat (unless you bypass it). Honestly I would have to look at the wiring in mine before I could tell you how to properly install it. Next time I open it up I will do so and report.
