ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED
I have now identified two (2) problems. I have no idea how the first one happened, but the gun can't work until it's fixed. The second one is probably no big deal.
In case you don't already know, here is a diagram of how a gearbox works. http://www.mechbox.com/data/how-the-mechbox-works.html
PROBLEM 1

The AR latch is stopping the gears from spinning in the right direction. The green gear is pushing the piston forward. It should be pulling it back.
PROBLEM 2
The thing w/ a black dot on it is supposed to push the plastic thing back, but instead its going under.

Also, how do I keep the spring in place when putting the two halves together?
The piston was all the way back.

I opened the gearbox, but I made a stupid mistake and didn't hold the screwdriver that I put in the spring guide. It pretty much exploded. I put everything back in its spot, and nothing was broken.

I tried to put the two halves back together w/o the piston and spring, but they didn't go. I don't know why. If you see anything wrong with it please say so.
The main reason I made this is so that I wouldn't have to send PMs to all the people helping me with this, and also so anybody else could see the pictures and tell me if anything is wrong.

Do you have access to a better camera? Those pictures are just about useless with the darkness and bad focus.

There's no kill switch on awesome!

looks ok , most of time when you put the shell together you will need to push the plastic piece in that is located at the front/ bottom of the shell near the trigger. just line everything up, start workin your way around it to seal it, when you get towards the trigger (in front of it) is small black plastic piece that moves up and down, push that up into the shell and it should snap together with that out of the way. its probably the last thing you will touch before the shell is finally closed.
also, i cant tell but you might need some grease for those gears, the box "looks" dry but i cant really tell for sure obviously.
good luck

Doublewolf, you are my new best friend...That is most thorough "What is wrong with my gun?" thread I have ever seen, and I wish more people would ask their questions in this manner.
First thing, your Anti-Reversal latch does NOT engage with the Spur Gear (the red one, in your 1st picture). It engages against your Bevel Gear (The gear that is missing in your first picture) Because you have the AR Latch engaging your spur gear, your gearbox cannot turn the correct way. You have to pull the AR Latch down, while inserting the bevel gear.
There are literally thousands of guides and videos showing how to put you gearbox back together. I would suggest either watching some of them, to learn how to put your gearbox back together, or get someone to show you, or take ALL the parts of your gun to a knowledgable tech, and get them to put it back together.

The thing on the Sector Gear with a black dot is commonly called either the Tappet Plate Post or the Sector Gear Post, and the "plastic thing" is called the Tappet Plate. When you have the gearbox open, the tappet plate will almost always slip over the sector post (I say almost always, because if I say always, someone will post about how theirs doesn't...lol). Once the gearbox is closed properly, the shell of the gearbox will keep it from slipping over.Doublewolf wrote:The thing w/ a black dot on it is supposed to push the plastic thing

Re: Problem with Gun (Doublewolf) [with pictures of mechbox]
I put it back together, but I really don't trust my own work since i have never done it before. I think something might be messed up with the motor height, and I also am not sure the shims are in the right places (I didn't know where they ent, but I tried to put them in places that would help the gears be in the right places). To avoid damage to my gears, I am going to let somebody look at it at OP 24 before I shoot a whole lot of rounds out of it.

Re: Problem with Gun (Doublewolf) [with pictures of mechbox]
To add to what Grim said, the spring on your AR must be on the opposite side if it is pushing against the spur gear, switch it. Also, remember to have the Tappet post not underneath the Tappet Plate when you close it, and make sure the large half teeth on the Sector gear are facing down (by that I mean away from the piston, not on the underside).
I would highly reccomend that you have Grimwulf or I assist you (or another experienced tech) as soon as possible.
