Loud Motor

Been working on a gun, and the motor is exceedingly loud. It is out of a DBoys SCAR. Supposed to be a high torque. I've adjusted the motor height, and its at its quietest point right now, but is still ear-ringingly loud. So my thought is that the motor is over worked. When run outside of the gun, it does make a screech when it stops, also leading me to believe its a motor issue. Not sure the exact spring that is in it, either an M130 or and M150. Yeah i know, not my gun, do don't blame me. So what I need are some recommendations on a good replacement motor would be.

Check that the axle is not bent, even slightly. Also see if any small parts got inside of the motor itself.

There is also noticeable wear on the motor pinion gear. Not on the outside of the teeth, but on the insides where they contact the gear. Almost like indentions on the teeth.

Pinion wear is pretty classic of bad motor height. But if the motor whines loudly outside of the gun, it sounds like the motor is bad. How warm does it get when running it in your hand for a little while?

The battery is not too powerful for a motor. Unless you're doing something like a 22.2v lipo, you're fine to go. And there are still some crazies who feel the need to use batteries that big in their AEGs.

what in the world would you need with a 22.2v battery? unless you like melting guns?
