BB Weight Question for TM G17 Glocks or similar gas blowback

Looked at some BB weight to FPS tables and based upon this, the BB weight for a 300 fps gas blow-back appears to be .20 gram. Since heavier BB's, to a certain point, are more accurate it would be great to hear what your experience "in the field" and "on the range" with a 290-300 fps GBB pistol. Particularly a TM G17 or clone. In terms of best weight BB's? .23, .25 or what?
I Like testing. Heck, I am ridiculous at testing "hand-loads" in "real steel" rifles, but do not want to buy multiple bags of BB's just to test weight when there are a lot of great players who already have that info. Thanks!

I use .23g's (typically Airsoft Elite brand) with my pistols and springer shotguns, found them to be about perfect. YMMV.

Personally the lightest BB I will use is a .28 even in my handguns. I found that the increase in accuracy and stability of the .28 outweighed the minimal decrease in range. It takes a little bit longer for the round to reach the target since the FPS is reduced quite a bit over a .20 out of a stock TM P226 but it is hardly noticable. Just see if you can borrow some different weights from some buddies if you don't want to buy multiple bags.

I've seen people use .30 in AEPs, and it seemed to work great. So what he said ^^

I've used heavier weights, but settled on .25s. Good accuracy without having to heavily compensate for lower velocities, best thing you can do is get some different weights and experiment.

This is good advice. But I also agree with most people here, I use heavy weights in my GBB, .30 or .32 lately.

I use .25gs. I wouldn't go with anything lighter in a GBB. If you want a little more speed from the round and are using a TM AEP (a more accurate and stable flight compared to a GBB) you could use .20gs and shouldn't lose accuracy.

After trying many different weights, I have found that .28 give a nice straight shot, that does stay stable in little wind. Also, since a sidearm is a last ditch weapon, I am not to worried about distance shoots. .25-.28 is what is recommend for KWAs, and I have just settled for .28.
